I know some of you have been expecting a part 2 of Holy Rumble, but for those unaware, this is to hold you all over until I get around to making part 2 (because I've been busy), and it's also to introduce other characters quicker.

As for when the shorts take place, some will take place while Rick and Dez are up in heaven as Jesse is still on the run. Some will take place sometime after. A few will take place in the past. Like how (SPOILER!!!) Velvette met Jesse's father.

This short takes place while Rick and Dez are in heaven's court room. Also it's canon to the story just to be clear.

Jesse's POV:

I. Am. So. FUCKING. TIRED!

I'm exhausted as all hell...! Even though I'm already in hell— GAH! It's not the point! I haven't found a place for me to take a damn break, or get some much needed sleep. There's so many risks of just checking into a hotel, or sleeping out in the open. Someone would probably recognize me if I check into a hotel, and I could be found by the psycho she demons if I slept out in the open, or found by some sick weirdo.

So for the time being, I'm stuck doing parkour to put as much distance as I can from the crazies after as I can until I can find a suitable place to crash.

So it's the same as usual. Well, after duking it out with Zeezi, and narrowly avoiding a reunion with my biological mom. Thank god for Saber Thorn on both accounts.

But good god, my body's aching, I'm parched like a cactus in a desert, and I feel like I'm about to pass out!!!

After landing on the roof of a smaller building, I nearly collapsed on my ass, but I regained my balance.

"Fuck... Thorn, I can't keep up with this parkour shit. I'm gonna pass out. We need to rest somewhere. Right. Now." I said, panting from exhaustion as I was hunched over, and had my hands on my knees.

'I feel you, Jesse. Our energy reserves are depleting fast. But finding a place to rest isn't exactly easy around here.' Saber Thorn spoke in my head.

"Then let's find one already!" I snapped from the fatigue.

'Calm yourself, boy. I get that you're tired as shit, but we can't just jump into a place of vacancy without knowing what we're getting into. The hotels could be either shitty, or ran by shitty people, or have shitty guests, or worse, all of the above!' Saber Thorn pointed out.

"For the love of— then what do you suggest we do?" I asked tiredly.

'We either keep wandering around to hopefully find a hotel that won't screw us over, or we stop, and ask for directions to actually find a legitimate hotel that'll actually be safe for us to spend the night.' Said Saber Thorn.

"No way are we doing the first option. We'll just wander around longer than I can handle now. But who the hell do we ask?" I ask.

'Not a clue. Can't do that while on the rooftops. We should get to ground level, and see if there's anyone who isn't a douchebag who can help us.' Saber Thorn suggested.

"Fuck it. Too tired to argue." I said as I walk to the edge of the roof.

Using Saber Thorn's power, I jump from the roof, and fall to the sidewalk below. It wasn't as far from the previous heights of the much taller buildings we scaled before, but still a good few stories tall to where no normal human would survive.

Good thing I'm no normal human thanks to Saber Thorn.

I hit the sidewalk below in a crouching super hero landing pose, and the sidewalk cracked beneath my feet.
