Saturday, May 11th, 2019

5 PM

"Oh my god, I'm freaking out." Mercedes said, pacing the room where the bridesmaids and her were getting ready to walk down the isle. Brenda stood in front of her and put her hands on her shoulders.

"Stop, you're going to wear your shoes out. You look amazing, Mercedes. There's nothing to be worried about. Chord is going to be at that alter waiting on you. Your hair and makeup is perfect, so is your dress. Chord loves you, and how do you think he would feel if you just skipped out on him." Brenda said. Mercedes took a deep breath and nodded. Mercedes dad, Tommy, came in and said,

"Alright girls, it's time for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to walk down the isle." He said. Mercedes took a deep breath again and Brenda smiled at her, walking in front of the girls to the doors where they would walk through. Brenda smiled widely when she saw Sam standing there, waiting for her to reach him. He's the best man and she's the maid of honor. He glanced behind him and did a double take and grinned. She reached him and picked up her bouquet of flowers.

"Wow. You look beautiful." He said. She blushed.

Thanks Sammy. You look pretty handsome as well." She said, putting her arm through his. Nash and Charity were behind them in the line, then there was Santana and Brittany, then Blaine and Kurt, and finally Puck and Quinn. Charity tapped Brenda on the shoulder. Brenda looked back at her.

"You look great, and um, what am I supposed to do?" She asked.

"Just follow what Nash does, which I know is a very difficult thing to do." Sam chuckled while Nash stuck his tongue out at her." Sam and I will walk first, then when we're half way to Chord at the alter, you and Nash will follow us. Just smile at Chord and then stand next to me." She breathed a sigh of relief.

Thank you."

"You're welcome, and you look very beautiful too." She blushed and thanked her again. Once everyone was in place, the music started playing and Sam and Brenda started walking. Sam stood behind Chord and grinned at him, and Brenda stood behind where Mercedes would be standing. Soon, everyone was in place again, and the wedding march began. Sam could tell Chord was nervous, and when Mercedes started walking out with her dad, he had to nudge Chord to get him to look at her. When he did, he had the biggest smile on his face, and his eyes started watering. Nash, being the idiot he is, covered his mouth and called,

"Oh!" Everyone shook their heads at him. Mercedes reached Chord, smiling, but holding back tears. Mercedes handed her bouquet to Brenda and took Chord's hands as the preacher started talking. Soon it was time for their vows.

"Repeat after me, Chord." Chord nodded.
