Brenda's POV
Sam and I stayed in New York for the next few weeks, since Matthew said we didn't have anything to do, and today, Sam, Kurt, Blaine, Rachel, Finn, Julia, and I are shopping. Julia was mostly whacking Sam in the face rather than 'shopping'. We'd already gone into three stores when I ran into a familiar black haired, blue eyed girl.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-Oh my gosh."She said, covering her mouth with her hand. I looked at her for a second.
"Don't I know you from somewhere?"I asked. She moved her mouth and nodded. I gasped.
"Raven? Raven Grey?" I asked. She nodded, grinning. I put my bags in Sam's arms and hugged her, the both of us squealing.
"I have a kid in my arms you know." I heard Sam mumbled. I let her go and looked her over.
"At least you have a better sense of style now." I said."And you're still short."
"Says you." Finn said. I glared at him.
"And you have a better sense of style too. And you're short too without heels on." Raven said. I laughed.
"I know. If I didn't wear heels, and be a lot more shorter than Sam, and to me, he's a freaking giant." I said, taking the bags back.
"It[s not my fault that I'm tall and you're short." He said. I stuck my tongue out at him.
"Why don't we got to Starbucks or something and we can catch up more, and I can get to know your friends." Raven said. I looked at the others.
"I could definitely use coffee right now." Sam said, taking a hold of Julia's hands so she would stop hitting him."Damn, you're kid does not like me right now for some reason." He said.
"Give her here." Rachel said and took her. She just put her head on Rachel's shoulder and looked at Sam, sucking her thumb. He shook his head and followed me and Raven to the closest Starbucks. We ordered our coffee, and when we got it, we sat at a table.
"So, what are you doing in New York?" I asked, taking a sip. Then I nudged Sam,"I like you're coffee better."
"That's because I put a bunch of sugar in it." He said. I grinned, then looked at Raven.
"I style and make wedding dresses and gowns for famous people. I just finished a few today." She said, showing me a few pictures.
"Huh, well, when Sam and I get married, you're definitely making mine." I said, kissing Sam on the lips.
"I'd be happy to!" Raven said, smiling at us."You know, I've been thinking about opening up my own shop in LA, and I was wondering if you and some of your friends would like to model some of the dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and tuxes." She said."I mean, you'd get paid and everything, since I get a good amount of money for the dresses and tuxes I sell." She said. I looked at Sam, who shrugged.
"Well, I'd love to, and I'm sure Santana and Brittany would love to, and they'd probably buy from you since they're getting married. Sam and I probably can when we're not working." I said." We can ask all of our friends."She squealed and clapped happily, and saw Sam flinch slightly."You alright baby?"I asked. He didn't say anything."What's wrong? You've been acting weird since lunch."
"I don't want to talk about it here." He mumbled. I looked at him for a second and nodded.
"Well, I uh, better get going. Here's my number. It was great seeing you." Raven said, handing me a piece of paper with her number on it. I hugged her, and we went our separate ways. As soon as we got to Finn and Rachel's apartment, where we've been staying, and the door was shut, Sam literally sank to his knees, crying. I sank with him, hugging him.
"My god, Sam, what's going on?" He couldn't say anything as he sobbed into my shoulder. I just hugged him, sitting on the floor while everyone watched.
"He's gone. He's gone." He cried, repeating it over and over again.
"Who's gone?" I asked gently.
"C-Cam. He's dead." He sobbed. My mouth dropped open and I looked at everyone else, who were just as shocked as me. I hugged him tighter and a few tears fell from my own eyes.
I know it's short, but the next chapter will be up later today, since it's literally 3:15 AM right now.
