Chapter 29

Third Person POV

11 PM

They got to Jimmy Kelly's restaurant around 11, and they were surprised by everyone from Ohio, glee alumni and family members, yelling 'Surprise!' when they came in.

"Oh my gosh, why are you guys here?" Brenda exclaimed, hugging her mom, Terry, and Sam's parents.

"Well, we came here to celebrate with my babies for winning 10 and 8 awards!" Donna exclaimed, hugging Sam and Chord too. She hugged Brenda again."I'm so proud of you!" She said. Brenda smiled.

"And we're proud of you two too!" Mary said as she and Dwight hugged Sam and Chord."You didn't hurt your self when you fell, did you?" She asked, looking over him.

"No mom, I was laughing the whole time after it happened." He said. She laughed.

"Of course you were." She said. Sam wrapped his arms around Brenda and rested his chin on the top of her head.

"Did grandma tell you what Brenda did to John?" He asked Mary. Dwight started laughing."I take that as a yes."

Good job son."He said and he fist bumped his dad. They ate and talked, having fun. By the time everyone was done eating, Sam was half asleep. His arms were on the table, and his head was resting on them.

"Alright everyone, it's time for sleeping beauty to go night night,"Puck said sarcastically.

"Screw you Puckerman." Sam mumbled, sitting up.

"I'm tired as hell, so, who wants to go home?" Brenda asked, rubbing Sam's back.

"Says the none pregnant girl." Mercedes said, letting the secret slip. Chord's half open eyes widened. She covered her mouth once she realized what she said. She looked at Chord.

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

"It's fine, might as well tell them anyway." He said. She looked at everyone.

"Did you just say your pregnant?" Stacy asked.

"Technically, no. But I am pregnant. We found out this morning."She said. The girls started squealing, along with Kurt, and congratulating them both. Then everyone left, Brenda falling asleep in the car. Sam carried her in the house but woke her up, knowing she wouldn't want to sleep in her makeup. She slowly made her way to the bathroom, dropping her dress and kicking off her shoes as she went. She just took a shower, washing her face and hair since it was to hard to brush because of all the hair spray Angela put in it. She towel dried it until it was damp and put it in a bun, putting on her clothes and laying down beside Sam, who was asleep. She snuggled into his side. He was on his stomach, but he instinctively put an arm around her, pulling her closer to him. She smiled and fell asleep quickly.

Back in Ohio

Third Person POV

School was finally out for the summer, and everyone always ended up going to Sam and Brenda's place to swim. Mercedes and Chord went to the doctor on Thursday, and she's a little over a month along, and everything is going fine so far. Her due date is January 27th, 2020. There has been a lot of construction on Sam and Brenda's house, which she still knew nothing about. The whole perimeter is laid out already, and they're going to start putting walls up soon. On graduation day, another glee member got engaged.  And you know who it was? Unique Adams! Yep, Hunter proposed to her in the choir room in front of everyone. Their wedding is going to be held in Ohio, since gay marriage was now legal in all 50 states, and it would take place in November this year. Next week, Sam, Brenda, Chord, and Mercedes are going back to Nashville to spend some time on the farm with the grandparents for a few months. Sam and Chord are going to help grandpa Evans on the farm, and Mercedes and Brenda are helping grandma Evans bake cakes, cookies, etc for her little bakery in town. But now, Sam and Brenda were in the hot tub relaxing. Chord and Mercedes were in the pool, just floating around on floats.

"Can you believe Hunter proposed to Unique?" Sam asked Brenda, wrapping his arms around her."It seems like it was just yesterday that he sang a Sam Smith song for his audition song and got in. And in reality in was about two years or so ago."He said.

"I know. I'm happy for them though. They deserve happiness, considering all they had to go through to be accepted as they are. The last few years have gone by so fast." Brenda said. Sam nodded, massaging her shoulders. After a few minutes of silence."So, has your mom and dad picked out any names for the new twins?" She asked.

"I think they've finally settled on Shawn Anthony Evans and Savannah Hope Evans. I'm not exactly sure though." He said.

"Oh, I love the name Savannah! Remember my old dog?"

"Yeah, it sucks that she got hit by a car. Same with the cat. I loved that O'l furball." He said.

"Me too. I want a puppy. Like, one of those fluffy white Pomeranian's that look like little clouds when they're puppies." Sam nodded.

"It's a cloud with a mouth, nose and eyes!" He said, causing her to laugh."They're so fluffy! But I want a dog too. A golden retriever. Maybe sometime soon we can get both." She looked up at him.

"Really?"

"Yes, really." He said, already knowing what he'd get her for her birthday. She turned around and hugged him, kissing him on the lips.

"I love you."She said, her nose touching his.

"I love you too. Now gimme another kiss." She giggled and kissed him again.
