Brenda's POV

12 AM

I have pretty much spent the last few days cleaning up the entire house, with the help of mama. Why? Because she told me that her long time boyfriend, who she had been dating for about a year and a half, who I'd met last time I was in Ohio, was coming over today, with his four kids. I was washing dishes that Puck and Kevin decided to mess up, 3 plates each, when Sam walked up behind me. He put his hands on my hips and I leaned against his chest, putting the soapy, soaking wet wash cloth in the water. I sighed and closed my eyes as he rested his chin on top of my head.

"You okay?" He asked. I opened my mouth to answer but I yawned loudly before I could answer.

"I'm tired." I said after it was over. He chuckled and kissed my head.

"Why don't you go take a nap then?"He asked. I turned around and hugged him, burying my face in his shirt.

"Because I have to finish washing the dishes and vacuum the living room while mama is at the store with mom shopping."I said, not even noticing I called Mary 'Mom'.

"Well, why don't you go lay down on our bed and I'll finish these last few dishes and vacuum for you?"He suggested.

"I freaking love you." I mumbled. He laughed and kissed my head again.

"I love you too, now go get your short little booty up stairs." He said, patting me on the butt as I started to walk away. I rolled my eyes and kissed him, then slapped his ass before walking quickly away from him while laughing. I already knew that he was rolling his eyes and laughing. I went up stairs and got under the covers, sprawling out across the bed.

Sam's POV

About 30 minutes later, mama and Donna got back from the store. I had already got the dishes washed and the living room vacuumed. The first thing Donna asked was,

"Where's Brenda?"

"Taking a nap up stairs."

"Good, she's been acting kind of weird lately."She said, pointing at a container of chocolate ice cream in her hand. I nodded, grinning. I sat on the counter and asked,

"What do you mean she's been acting weird? She seems normal to me. Just a little more tired than usual." Donna shrugged.

"I don't know. She gets tired faster then she used to."

"Do you maybe think it's because we're getting older?" I asked/joked. She slapped my arm and I chuckled.

"Okay, I'm gonna ask you a serious question, okay?" She said. I nodded.

"Shoot."

"Is she pregnant?" I nearly choked on my own spit.

"What?" I squeaked." No! At least, I don't think she is." Mom and Donna laughed. Donna patted my shoulder.

"You don't have to freak out, Sam. If she was, she'd probably tell you." I nodded, and started to go into the living room.

"Oh, and Sam?" Mom asked. I looked back in the kitchen.

"Ma'am."

"Please tell me you use condoms. She's not on birth control you know." I looked at her for a second, a disgusted look on my face.

"Mom! Of course I do! I would even if she was on it, and I know she's not. Gross!" The two were laughing as I went in the living room.

"How do you think babies are made?" She called.
