Part 23

The sun cast a golden glow over the playground, where children ran, laughed, and played. Haseena stood near a bench, watching the scenery with teary eyes. She glanced at the swing, remembering her time with Ks.

Then, she saw her.

KS stood near the fountain, a small figure in a pale yellow frock. Her face was hesitant, but the moment her big, round eyes met Haseena's, they sparkled with joy.

"Mumma!!" she called, her voice squeaky yet full of excitement. Her little feet stumbled as she tried to crawl towards Haseena, her weak body barely managing the steps.

Haseena's heart leaped. "KS!!" She rushed forward, her arms outstretched, ready to scoop her up.

But before she could reach her, a hand yanked KS back.

Shagun.

Haseena's blood ran cold as KS let out a terrified whimper. Shagun's grip tightened around the child's frail wrist.

"Mummaaa!" KS screamed, her tiny arms reaching out.

"KS!!" Haseena lunged, but in a flash, Shagun pulled KS into a car and slammed the door shut. The tires screeched as the vehicle sped away, leaving a horrified Haseena behind.

Tears burned in her eyes, her breath coming in gasps as her phone trembled in her grip.

"Anubhav! Amar! Cheeta! They took KS! SHAGUN TOOK KS! Woh abhi humare samne thi. Shagun usse wapas leke gayi. Plz police ke sath jaldi aa jaiye, wo meri beti ko... plz jaldi aa jaiye."

Anubhav, "App chinta mat kijiye priye, Hum bas abhi pohoch gaye aise samaj lijiye. Humne vikrant ko call karke sab bata diya hai, wo force leke aa hi raha hai."

The rescue happened fast. Too fast. One moment, KS was trembling in fear in Shagun's grip, and the next, Amar and Cheeta stormed in with Anubhav, along with the three ladies, their fury unmatched.

The moment KS saw them, her lips quivered. "Mummaaa!!"

That was all it took.

Haseena shoved past everyone, her heart pounding as she took her baby into her arms. Hm pushed Shagun away. KS clung to her, sobbing loudly, her tiny frame shaking. Haseena's hands ran over her hair, her back, her face, checking for any sign of injury.

"You will never touch her again," Haseena's voice shook with raw emotion as she glared at Shagun.

Anubhav stepped forward, his voice dangerously calm. "Not anymore."

Cheetah, Amar, and Shivani surrounded KS protectively, glaring at Shagun like a pack of wolves ready to tear her apart.

Shagun smirked. "Oh? And what are you going to do about it?"

At that moment, officers stormed in.

"Shagun, you are under arrest for child trafficking, abuse, and illegal possession of minors."

Champa stepped forward. "I told them everything."

KS whimpered, hiding her face in Haseena's chest.

Haseena kissed her forehead. "You are ours. Forever."

KS sniffled, gripping her tightly. "No send me back?"

"Never, meri jaan."

The 6 bring Ks to a hospital to check her out. Maya was on the rounds and thus she checked her out.

Hm: Kaisi hai who?
