The nursery was dimly lit, the soft glow of the night lamp casting a golden hue over the little crib. Karishma lay curled up, her tiny hands tucked under her cheek, breathing softly in her peaceful slumber. The light fabric of the blanket rose and fell with each of her slow, even breaths.

Haseena stood by the doorway, her arms folded, a faint smile gracing her lips as she watched over her little baby. Her eyes held a mixture of love, guilt, and relief—so many emotions tangled together that she couldn't even begin to separate them.

Anubhav walked in quietly, standing beside her. Without a word, he slipped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. They stood there, side by side, watching the little miracle that had brought them all together again.

Haseena sighed, her voice barely above a whisper. "Mujhe maaf kar do, Anu... Maine tum par bharosa nahi kiya. Hum dono alag ho jaate uss ek galti ki wajah se... aur maine apne hi haathon se sab tod diya."

Anubhav turned to look at her, his eyes glistening. "Hum dono ne ghaltiyan ki hain, Haseena... sirf tum nahi. Lekin shukr hai ki hum waqt par samajh gaye. Main bas yahi chahta hoon ki hum phir se ek saath ho jayein... bina kisi dar ke."

Haseena blinked back her own tears. "Main bhi yahi chahti hoon... purani baatein chhod kar ek naya shuruat karein. Sirf hum dono... aur humari chhoti si baby."

A tear slipped down Anubhav's cheek, but he smiled through it. Without another word, he stepped forward, leaned down, and pressed a gentle kiss on Karishma's forehead. She stirred slightly but didn't wake, only making a soft sound in her sleep.

He whispered, "Shukriya, baby... meri Haseena ko wapas laane ke liye."

Haseena let out a small laugh, resting her head on his shoulder as they both stood there, watching their little miracle.

The Next Day:

KS sat in a tiny remote-controlled car, a big red bow clipped to her silky hair. Her hands barely reached the plastic steering wheel, her face a mix of confusion and excitement.

In front of her stood Anubhav, Amar, and Cheeta, their expressions devious as they bragged about Ks.

As: Aree meri beti kidnap hui thi na, tab bhi usne unn gundo ko maja chakhaya tha. Ekdum bahadur bacha hai mera. Hai na meri jaan.

Ks looked up from the steering wheel, to see her papa bragging infront of other fathers.

(The other fathers are: Aman (Kid- Arush(5 yrs)), Shaunak(kid- Payal(3 yrs)), Kartik(kid – Arnav(6yrs))

Kartik – Abee tu jyada exaggerate mat kar samjha na. Itnusi hai teri baby, kya hi ukhad legi.

Amar: Aee meri baby ko kam mat samajna. Wo ekdum nidar aur awesome hai, bilkul meri tarah.

Aman – Sure Amar, abhi mai Shivani ko bula deta hu, phir dekhte hai kon kitna nidar hai.

All laugh at Amar, and Cheetah says, "Manna hai toh mano warna mat mano, but Karu baby sacchi bohot brave hai.)

They all looked down at Ks, who was trying to push the accelerator of the car.

Shaunak – Car chal kaise nhi rahi? Achi baat hai, warna madam ka pata nhi kya chal raha hai.

As showed him the remote where he had pressed the brake button.

As: Mujhe pata hai meri beti kitna Hungama khada kr sakti hai, isliye maine already remote khudke pas rakh liya hai.

Ks hears that and pouts cutely, making all of them to coo over her.

The kids come running there, and start smothering baby Karu as she was cute and the first baby they had seen. Payal who used to be the kid of the group, got a bit jealous but later on, Ks charmed her with her smiles and babbles.
