Half an hour later, Anubhav returned to the waiting room. His face was unreadable.

The moment Haseena saw him, she immediately stood up, hopeful. "Anubhav... Karishma..."

"Theek hai." His voice was cold, detached.

For a second, relief washed over her. But then... she noticed something.

The way he was looking at all of them.

The emptiness in his eyes.

"Main use ghar le jaane ki tayyari kar raha hoon. Kal morning tak discharge mil jayega." He stated plainly.

There was another pause. Then, Amar stepped forward hesitantly. "Toh hum—"

"Tum sab nahi miloge usse."

Silence.

Shivani's eyes widened slightly. "Anubhav, hum—"

"Nahi." His voice was firm. "Jitna pyaar tum sabko Naina se hai, utna pyaar Karishma ke liye kabhi tha hi nahi. Toh ab kyun? Ab kyun milna hai tumhe?"

Haseena shook her head desperately. "Anu, aisa mat kaho..."

"Main sirf sach keh raha hoon." His gaze flickered toward Sheetal.

"Tumhari beti, bohot special hai na sabke liye?" He gestured toward the room where Naina was resting. "Toh jao, uske saath raho. Pehle bhi toh uske saath hi the na tum sab? Ab bhi wahin raho."

Haseena's breath hitched. "Anubhav please..."

But he turned away. "Karishma se dur raho sab."

His final words cut through the room like a sharp knife.

Then, without another word, he walked away.

Leaving behind a broken Haseena.

A silence stretched in the room. No one knew what to say.

Haseena sank onto the chair, fresh tears pouring down her face.

Sheetal immediately sat beside her, pulling her into her arms. "Haseena... please mat ro..."

But before Haseena could say anything, Sheetal's voice hardened.

"Uss bacchi ne tumhare aur Anubhav ke beech ek diwar bana di hai, Haseena." Her voice was sharp, bitter. "Woh tum dono ko alag kar rahi hai."

Haseena's eyes snapped up, shocked. "Sheetal, tu—"

"Sach bol rahi hoon!" Sheetal tightened her grip on her. "Pehle bhi dekha tha maine... jab usne Naina ko giraya tha... aur ab? Anubhav tujhe chor raha hai sirf uske liye!"

Haseena violently shook her head. "Nahi! Aisa mat bol Sheetal! Woh ek chhoti bacchi hai!"

"Chhoti bacchi?!" Sheetal's voice was sharp. "Ek chhoti bacchi ne yeh sab kiya hai Haseena. Ha shayad usko samaj na aya ho, pr hua toh uski wajah se hi hai."

Haseena closed her eyes in frustration. "Mujhse galti ho gayi... bas mujhe sudharne ka mauka chahiye..."

"Aur tab tak kya? Tera pati tujhse door hota rahega?" Sheetal pressed. "Mujhe toh lagta hai ki uss bacchi ne tujhe Anubhav se door kar diya hai, Haseena... aur yeh doori kabhi khatam nahi hogi. Wo ladki hi apshagun hai tere life ki..."

Haseena got angry hearing her words and realized what kind of shit Shit-al was uttering about her baby. She got up immediately and held Sheetal's arms tightly, Sheetal yelped in pain but she didn't release her, "SHEETAL. Maine kisiko hakh nhi diya meri beti ke khilaf aise lafz istamaal karneka, joh bhi hua, wo humare FAMILY ki aur especially MERI galti thi, isme meri nanhi si jaan ne kuch nhi kiya, aur yeh joh abhi tum usse boli na, agar yeh alfaz tumne wapas meri beti keliye use kiye, toh bhul jaa ki teri koi behen bhi thi. Aur tu chali jaa yahase, mujhe teri shakal bhi nhi dekhni hai abhi. Aur haa, AYINDE MERI BETI KE BARE MAI AISE ALFAZ NHI, WARNA MAI TERA WO HASHRA KARUNGI KI TU KHUD KO NA PEHCHAN PAYE... CHALI JAA YAHASE..."
