The tension in my office was thick enough to suffocate. The dim glow of the multiple screens cast an eerie blue hue on Aditya's face as he worked his magic, his fingers moving at an almost inhuman speed across the keyboard. The only sounds in the room were the furious clacking of keys and the occasional beeping from the system.

I stood behind him, arms crossed, eyes fixated on the screen. The frustration gnawed at me like a relentless beast. It had been days since I had been chasing the person who has information related to Raghav, but every time I got close, the culprit slipped through my fingers.

And amidst all of this, Meera was still avoiding me.

I clenched my jaw, pushing aside the ache in my chest. I would deal with that later. Right now, I had a bigger problem to solve.

"This bastard is good," Aditya muttered, his brows furrowing in concentration. "Not as good as me, but still, I'll give them credit for trying."

His fingers flew over the keyboard, his eyes darting between multiple monitors, scanning through lines of code, tracking every move of the hacker.

I exhaled sharply. "How close are we?"

Aditya didn't answer immediately. His gaze was locked onto the main screen, where a complex matrix of data unfolded like a map, a never-ending stream of information cascading in neon green. "Almost there... But whoever this is, they're not some amateur sitting in their basement. They know how to cover their tracks."

I tightened my fists. "Then find them."

Aditya scoffed. "Well, obviously. That's literally what I'm doing, dude. You think I'm playing Temple run here?"

I shot him a glare, and he chuckled under his breath before his expression turned serious again.

"Damn, they just changed their route."

The screen flashed red for a moment before stabilizing. Aditya's fingers moved even faster, his focus sharp, his body leaning forward slightly.

I knew better than to disturb him when he was in this mode. Aditya wasn't just good at this-he was a god in the digital world. His expertise in cybersecurity and hacking was unparalleled, and there was no system he couldn't crack.

But this time, the opponent wasn't backing down easily.

A sudden glitch ran through the screen, and Aditya let out a frustrated sigh. "This guy's persistent. He keeps rerouting through different proxies-China, Russia, Germany-hell, even Antarctica. He's making me work for it."

I arched a brow. "You're saying you're struggling?"

Aditya shot me an indignant look. "Excuse me? I don't struggle. I make other people struggle. There's a difference."
