Feralpaw and the others were playing a game of mossball. "I got it this time Lillypaw!"
Darkpaw was curled in a tight ball in the apprentice's den. Feralpaw took notice and ran to him. "Hey buddy."
"Hi.." The dark brown and black apprentice mumbled.
"Come play with Lillypaw, Lightpaw, and me!" He encouraged him in a cheery tone.
His friend did not say a word. The tan tabby apprentice frowned. "Come on!" He meowed, pulling his tail in an effort to get him to move. It proved to be useless, at first anyway. So he tried again, which eventually gave him a reaction.
Darkpaw sighed, knowing his friend was trying to cheer him up. "I'm coming, I'm coming.."
Feralpaw smiled with joy. "Good! You need to do something fun to get you out of this bad mood Darkpaw."
An idea popped in Feralpaw's mind. "Lets save the clan from danger!" he squeaked."Yay!" Lillypaw, Darkpaw and Lightpaw all followed him. Their parents watched them with joy playing together. "Two rouges are coming!" Lightpaw hissed. Feralpaw and Darkpaw hissed, pretending to be two rouges. Lightpaw sprang into a leap."Roar!" she pinned Feralpaw to the ground. "I will never surrender!" He mewled.
"I am Lightstar of WolfClan! Fear me you rouge!" Lightpaw declared. Darkpaw charged for his sister in a sloppy almost bounding run. Lillypaw stood in front of the white and light brown patched apprentice. "I am her deputy Lillyclaw!" The tan moltted tabby apprentice squeaked.
"Can't catch me Darkpaw!" Feralpaw meowed bounding to the camp entrance.
"Be careful!"Jadepelt ordered. Lillypaw nodded her head. "Okay mommy!"
"You too Darkpaw! Lightpaw keep an eye on your brother!" Hawkleaf meowed.
"Yes father." Lightpaw replied and bounded after their friends."Can't catch me Darkpaw!"Feralpaw meowed with amusement. Lillypaw starred reluctantly while at play. "Darkpaw, Feralpaw, remember what Jadepelt said.."she told him and her brother. Lightpaw stood beside her. "Yeah..guys I got a bad feeling." Darkpaw saw a darkened part of the forest. "Whoa.." Feralpaw bounded beside him. "What is it?" he asked. "It's probably dangerous and bad, please don't go in there." Lillypaw pleaded. Despite her pleading to both toms, she was mainly directing it to Darkpaw. Lynx appeared from the darkness. "Well, it seems as if I found you once again.."
Feralpaw drew his lips back in an attempted snarl. He was trying to hide his fear scent.
"Guys, this is bad this is really really bad. We gotta turn around." Lillypaw whimpered frightened.
No! Surely Feralpaw would never turn from a fight. Especially one with a crazy rouge who nearly threatened his mother, sister, and his Clan. "Take this you rabbit heart!" The young tan tabby apprentice yowled and leaped at her, sinking his rather small but also sharp claws into her face. She shook him off. Feralpaw turned around and ran as fast as a fox.
The rouge yowled in pain. Lillypaw's eyes widened in horror. "Feralpaw! Everyone just run!" she grabbed Lightpaw by the scruff of her neck and dragged her for a bit before running. The four ran."Lightpaw!" Feralpaw shrieked. Lillypaw noticed Lightpaw falling behind. She slowed down and tried to push her along.
"Run!" Darkpaw shrieked as he ran faster.
"No one escapes Lynx that easily!!" The chestnut pelted she-cat shrieked.
Suddenly, two shapes zoomed out of the cluster of pines for Lynx. A moltted tan looking one and a black one. They were Dusty and Whitefang.
"Dad!" Lillypaw meowed in relief. Whitefang looked to the apprentices. "Go to your parents!"
The apprentices just stared at them as they had Lynx wriggling like a fox on the ground.
"Now!" The black tom yelled, his tone as sharp as the ice that just started to melt now.
Feralpaw ran as his sister, Darkpaw, and Lightpaw followed behind on scrambling, fast paws into camp. Lightpaw ran into camp as well followed closely by Lillypaw.
"I'm never leaving camp again!"
Lynx and the two warriors, who were now chasing her, bust into camp. Duskstar came out of the leader's den. "What in the name of StarClan?" He yelled in question.
Feralpaw ran to his mother, burring his face in her flank. "She was going to kill us!"
"Not while I'm here!" Dusty hissed. Jadepelt trotted by him."I will personally end you for coming the slightest near my children!" she hissed as she drew her lips into an angered snarl.
Feralpaw took notice of Duskstar who held a calm but angered expression. It may have looked relaxed, but the leader's eyes looked at cold as the currently but not yet leafbare season.
Lynx had drawn her lips back in a snarl. Onefang appeared and pushed past them and stood in front of the rouge. "I suggest you leave," he hissed at Lynx, rather annoyed. "Because I think you've made it rather clear to all of you want every piece of your fur ripped off of your pelt."
Feralpaw thought back to just a moment ago on how he sinked his claws into her face. "Go away!" He yelled to Lynx.
"I recommend you listen to him. Leave if you know what's good for you blood thirsty rabbit heart!" Blackflight yowled. Falconwing stepped in. "Yeah, leave before you get any more scratches on your ugly pelt!"
All of the cats crowded around Lynx, cornering her at the Great Rock. The scarred and scratched rouge had a low growl in her throat. Feralpaw heard it, as he looked at the group of warriors, Onefang, Falconwing, Bluejay and Whitemane cornering her.
"Grrrr back away from me you fools!" Lynx snarled.
"If you want us to not end your foxhearted life, then leave my camp and territory!" Duskstar ordered. Lynx began to limp off.
The charcoal tom turned his head to the cats crowding her. "Whitemane, Bluejay, make sure she leaves."
Whitemane nodded quickly and followed her out of camp. Bluejay did the same catching up with her.
