A quarter moon has finally passed. It was time for the apprentices to receive their warrior names. The day was finally here. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, join beneath the Great Rock for a clan meeting!" Duskstar called. "Is it here?! Is today really the day?!" Darkpaw asked. "Yes you beetlebrain!" Lightpaw mewed. The cats all gathered. "Yes! Today's the day! Woo Hoo!" Feralpaw cheered as he burst out the apprentice's den, with Darkpaw and the others on his tail. "We all know how impressive and wonderful these apprentices trained throughout these moons. Along with the wonderful deed they did for ViperClan along with Ashfire and Sandy,who is not present. It is in their mentors best interest that these cats are made warriors." Duskstar meowed. "Darkpaw, please step forward."
The apprentice did as told. "Darkpaw, do you promise to protect your clan from the tiniest kit to oldest elder?" the green eyed leader asked. "I do!" the dark brown apprentice promised. "Then, I Duskstar, Leader of WolfClan, call upon StarClan for me to give you your warrior name, Darkshadow!"
The two toms touched noses. He stepped away. "Lightpaw, please step forward." The young apprentice bounded forward happily. "Lightpaw, do you promise to protect your clan from the tiniest kit to oldest elder?" the green eyed leader asked. "Yes Duskstar!" Lightpaw squeaked with joy. Then, I Duskstar, Leader of WolfClan, call upon StarClan for me to give you your warrior name,Lightspot!"
She purred happily at her name. The two touched noses and the warrior then sat by her brother. "Lillypaw, please step forward."
She obeyed the leader.
"Lillypaw, do you promise to protect your clan from the tiniest kit to oldest elder?" Duskstar asked her. "Yes! I promise!" the light blue eyed apprentice mewed. "Then I,call upon StarClan for me to give you your warrior name,Lillytail!"
The newly made warrior's eyes shone with joy. The two cats touched noses. There was just one apprentice left out of the four to be made a warrior. "Feralpaw, please step forward."
The tabby green eyed apprentice stepped forward. "Feralpaw, do you promise to protect your clan from the tiniest kit to the oldest elder?" Duskstar asked. "I do Duskstar." Feralpaw answered. "Then I, call upon StarClan for me to give you your warrior name,Feralstorm!" the black tom announced. The two toms touched noses. The four cats all stared with pride. "May StarClan light all of your paths on your journey as warriors!"
"Darkshadow! Lightspot! Lillytail! Feralstorm!" the WolfClan cats chanted. Ferlastorm. I like that name.
