Ever since Jisoo started working on her new album while juggling her drama and movie schedules, things between her and Jennie felt... different. They were still together, still strong, but the distance had never felt this real. Jennie was mostly in LA, spending her days recording, doing photoshoots, or hanging out with her friends. Meanwhile, Jisoo was constantly on the move-shooting her drama, attending fansigns, flying to the Philippines, then back to Korea, then somewhere else again.

With their time zones mismatched and their schedules chaotic, they relied on texts and calls, but lately, those had been scarce too. Jennie always made sure to update Jisoo about her day, sending little texts, selfies, and voice notes, but Jisoo... Jisoo had been slipping. Her messages came late, sometimes not at all, and her excuse was always the same-"I forgot to charge my phone," or "I left it somewhere." Jennie was getting frustrated, but she tried to be understanding.

Until she saw that video.

Her phone buzzed with a notification. Someone had sent her a link to a trending clip of Jisoo doing the *Earthquake* trend. She clicked it, expecting the usual goofy Jisoo energy. But then she saw her-Hoyeon.

Hoyeon, who had been hanging around Jisoo way too much lately. Hoyeon, who had just gone through a breakup and, somehow, Jisoo had become her biggest support system. Jennie clenched her jaw as she watched the video. Jisoo and Hoyeon were standing close, laughing, their chemistry undeniable. The way Hoyeon leaned into Jisoo, the way Jisoo smiled at her-it made Jennie's stomach churn.

What the hell?

She exited the video before it finished, heart pounding. Jisoo hadn't mentioned this. Hadn't mentioned filming with Hoyeon. Hadn't mentioned that they were even hanging out today. And that was what made Jennie mad. Not the video itself, not even the way they looked together, but the fact that Jisoo never told her.

This was exactly why Jennie hated introducing her friends to Jisoo. Because Jisoo had this ridiculous, natural charm that made people fall for her. And it had happened before-Irene had a thing for Jisoo once, and now Hoyeon? Jennie knew Jisoo would never cheat, but that didn't mean it didn't bother her. That didn't mean it didn't sting.

She inhaled sharply, staring at her phone, debating whether to text or call. But no, she was too pissed for that. Instead, she tossed her phone onto the couch and grabbed her car keys. She needed to clear her head before she said something she'd regret.

Jisoo had just wrapped up another long day of filming when she finally checked her phone. A few missed calls from her manager, some texts from her members, and-

Nothing from Jennie.

That was weird. Jennie always sent her something, even if it was just a simple have a good day! text.

Frowning, she switched to Instagram out of habit and noticed her own story was blowing up. Oh. Right. The Earthquake video. Fans loved it, but that wasn't what concerned her right now. She quickly switched to her texts and sent a message to Jennie.

Jisoo: Baby, are you asleep?

No reply.

She waited a few minutes before trying again.

Jisoo:I just finished work. Call me when you see this? Miss you.

Again, nothing.

Her stomach twisted. Something was wrong.

Jennie finally came home after an hour of driving around aimlessly. Her mind was still racing, but at least she wasn't as angry as before. She picked up her phone, seeing Jisoo's texts, and sighed.
