Jisoo was used to waking up early, but nothing compared to waking up next to Jennie every morning. The soft morning light streamed through the sheer curtains of their penthouse, casting a golden hue on Jennie's sleeping face. Jisoo smiled, brushing a few strands of hair away before pressing a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Mm..." Jennie stirred, her arms instinctively wrapping around Jisoo's waist, pulling her closer. "Five more minutes."
Jisoo chuckled. "You say that every morning, love."
Jennie groaned, burying her face against Jisoo's neck. "You have meetings all day, don't you?"
"Mmhmm," Jisoo hummed, running her fingers through Jennie's hair. "Board meetings, brand deals, and then filming in the evening."
Jennie pouted, finally opening her eyes. "You work too much."
"And you have rehearsals and recording today," Jisoo reminded her. "Looks like we're both busy."
Jennie sighed dramatically, rolling on top of Jisoo, her weight pressing against her. "Can't we just stay in bed all day?"
Jisoo grinned, wrapping her arms around Jennie's waist. "As much as I would love that, my love, my assistant would drag me out if I don't show up."
Jennie huffed, letting her head rest on Jisoo's chest. "Fine, but promise me we'll have dinner together. No canceling."
"I promise," Jisoo whispered, sealing it with a lingering kiss. "Now go, before you make me late."

The day passed in a blur. Jisoo was stuck in meetings, barely having time to check her phone. When she finally got a break, she saw a text from Jennie: 'Don't forget dinner. I miss you.'
Jisoo smiled and immediately replied: 'Never. I miss you more.'
After hours of meetings and filming, Jisoo was exhausted but excited to go home. The moment she stepped inside, she was greeted by the warm aroma of food and Jennie, waiting for her at the dining table with a soft smile.
"You cooked?" Jisoo asked, surprised.
Jennie nodded. "I wanted to do something special. I know you're tired."
Jisoo walked over, wrapping her arms around Jennie's waist and kissing her temple. "You're the best, you know that?"
Jennie giggled, turning in Jisoo's embrace. "I do. Now eat before I steal your food."
As they ate, Jisoo reached over, intertwining their fingers. "Even with our crazy schedules, I wouldn't trade this for anything."
Jennie squeezed her hand, love shining in her eyes. "Me neither. Forever, okay?"
Jisoo smiled. "Forever."

Jennie woke up feeling extra motivated that morning. She finally had a free day, and instead of spending it resting, she decided to surprise her wife. Jisoo had been drowning in work, balancing her career as an actress, an idol, and a CEO. They barely had time together these days, and Jennie missed her—missed her warmth, her laugh, even the little grumbles Jisoo made when she was too tired to function.
So, she decided to do something sweet. Cooking wasn't exactly her specialty, but she had learned a thing or two over the years, especially Jisoo's favorite dishes. After hours in the kitchen, she packed everything neatly and headed straight to Jisoo's office, heart full of excitement.
Publicly, no one knew they were married. To the world, they were best friends, former groupmates, nothing more. But their inner circle knew the truth. Even Dispatch knew—but Jisoo made sure they kept their mouths shut.
