The silence stretched long after his words, thick and suffocating like a weight pressing down on her chest. Y/n stood frozen, her body rigid in his grasp, every nerve on edge. She knew the shift was coming — she could feel it in the way his breathing changed, in the tightening of his fingers on her waist.

"Why do you make me do this?" Thv’s voice was quiet, dangerous, the calm before the storm.

"I—I’m not—"

"Don’t," he cut her off sharply, his grip suddenly jerking her closer. The softness from moments before vanished, replaced by cold, seething anger. "You say there’s no one else, but I see it. I see it every time you look away from me. Every time you flinch."

"I’m scared," she whispered, the truth slipping out before she could stop it.

His eyes darkened. "Of me?"

Her throat closed up. She didn’t answer — she couldn’t.

That was her second mistake.

The slap came without warning, sharp and sudden. Her head snapped to the side, the sting blooming across her cheek. But the pain wasn’t the worst part — it was the silence that followed. The terrifying stillness as he watched her, waiting.

"Look at me," Thv demanded, his voice low and cold.

She did, slowly, her vision blurring with unshed tears.

"Say it," he hissed. "Say you belong to me."

"I… I belong to you," she choked out, her voice barely above a whisper.

But it wasn’t enough. It never was.

Thv’s fingers closed around her wrist, yanking her forward as he dragged her across the room. She stumbled, struggling to keep up, but he didn’t slow down until they reached the mirror. He spun her to face it, his hand sliding up to grip her jaw, forcing her to look at her reflection.

"Do you see this?" he demanded, his breath hot against her ear. "This fear in your eyes? I put it there. Because you need to learn."

"Please…" she whispered, but her voice broke.

"Please, what?" he mocked. "Please stop? Please be gentle?" His grip tightened, and she whimpered. "You don’t deserve that."

The mirror reflected her fear, her bruises, her brokenness — and beside her, Thv stood like a shadow, his eyes filled with fury and something darker. Possession. Obsession.

"You’re mine," he said again, his hand trailing down her neck, his fingers pressing just enough to make her breath catch. "And you’ll never forget it."

Tears slipped down her cheeks, but she didn’t wipe them away. She didn’t dare move.

"Say it again."

"I—I’m yours."

"Louder."

"I’m yours," she said, her voice cracking.

Thv’s lips curved into a slow, cruel smile. "Good girl."

But the approval didn’t soften him — it never did. It only made him worse.

The morning light grew brighter, but inside that room, there was no warmth. No escape. Only his anger. Only her fear.

And as his grip turned bruising again, Y/n realized there was no hope left at all.
