Thv stood in front of them, his expression twisted with fury. BTS had never been against him—not like this. But tonight, they weren’t by his side. Tonight, they stood between him and her.
Between him and the girl he never wanted.
"Why are you on her side?" he demanded, his voice sharp, laced with disbelief. "She’s not innocent. She stole Kittu’s place! She stole my life!"
Jungkook’s eyes darkened. "Stole? Hyung, are you even listening to yourself?"
"She didn’t steal anything," Namjoon said, voice calm but firm. "She was given this place because your precious Kittu ran away."
Thv clenched his fists. "She—she’s a bad girl. She—"
"A bad girl?" Jin scoffed. "You’ve lost it, Taehyung. What has she done except survive you?"
Thv’s gaze flickered to Y/N, who stood motionless behind them.
She wasn’t crying. She wasn’t begging.
She wasn’t anything.
Her eyes, once wide with innocence, held nothing now. No emotion. No hope. Just an empty void where something once lived.
She was breathing. But she wasn’t alive.
And for the first time, Thv felt something he couldn’t explain curl in his chest.
Regret?
No. He refused to feel that.
But guilt? Maybe.
Jimin exhaled sharply, raking a hand through his hair. "This is our fault." His voice was quieter than the others, but it carried the most weight.
Thv shot him a sharp look. "What?"
Jimin’s throat tightened. "I let it happen. I covered for you. I laughed when you pushed her away, I stayed quiet when you humiliated her. I told myself you’d stop eventually. That it wasn’t serious. But it’s too late now, isn’t it?" His gaze shifted to Y/N. "Look at her, hyung. She’s already gone."
Thv turned to Y/N again.
For the first time, he really looked at her.
And for the first time, he saw it.
The fear that used to live in her eyes was gone. Not because she was brave. But because there was nothing left inside her to be afraid.
He had broken her.
"She’s not even fighting back anymore," Hoseok muttered. "That’s not strength, hyung. That’s defeat."
The words struck something deep inside him.
Before he could process it, the door swung open.
And there stood Kittu.
Perfect. Whole. Safe.
Nothing had ever happened to her.
Thv felt the air leave his lungs.
She had run away and left behind the mess for Y/N to suffer.
And yet, he had blamed her for everything.
Y/N, the girl who had lost everything, who had never asked for this life, who had done nothing but breathe in a place she was never meant to be.
And he had made her pay for it.
His chest tightened. For the first time in a long time, he felt wrong.
Y/N met his gaze.
But there was nothing left inside her to see.
And that hurt more than anything else ever had.
The storm inside Thv was raging.
The truth had shattered something inside him, but he wasn’t ready to accept it. He wasn’t ready to admit that he was the villain in this story.
So, he did what he always did.
He let his anger take over.
"You should have never been here!" he roared, stepping toward Y/N with blind fury. "You ruined everything! You—"
His hand lifted.
The moment felt frozen in time.
But before he could bring it down, a force slammed into him, pushing him back.
Jungkook.
His grip was tight, his body a shield between Y/N and Thv. "That’s enough," Jungkook growled, his voice shaking with barely controlled rage.
Thv staggered, his eyes wide with disbelief. "You’re stopping me?"
"Yes," Jungkook snapped. "Because someone has to."
The room was silent, suffocating. The other members stood behind Jungkook, their faces unreadable, but their stance said everything—they were done letting this happen.
Thv’s hands curled into fists. "She doesn’t belong here!"
"But she’s still here," Namjoon said sharply. "And that’s not her fault. It’s yours."
Jimin stepped forward, his jaw tight. "If you hit her, I swear, Thv —" His voice cracked. "I won’t forgive you."
Thv looked at them, one by one.
They weren’t with him.
Not anymore.
And Y/N—
She hadn’t moved. She hadn’t flinched. She stood there, silent, unaffected.
She didn’t even look at him.
As if he didn’t matter anymore.
Something inside him twisted painfully.
He wanted her to fight back. To scream, to push him away, to say something—anything.
But she didn’t.
Because she didn’t care anymore.
And for the first time, the thought of losing her—not as his wife, not as his responsibility, but as a person who once had light in her eyes—felt like drowning.
But he wasn’t ready to accept that.
So, he turned on his heels and stormed out, leaving behind the silence of a war he had already lost.
