Madison Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Chapter 12: It Is A Book!
The next day, I had woken up to the sound of the shower being turned on by one of my fellow dorm mates.
Normally, I would not have been fazed by the sound, but everything has changed. I had another nightmare about what happened in The Veil.
Shaking off the feeling of complete and utter fright, I found myself grabbing my black skirt, shirt with red and gold trim, a button down shirt and my Gryffindor tie. I also grabbed skin colored nylons and my black flats.
Hermione walked out of the bathroom, drying her hair with some sort of spell.
"I'm all done," she told me.
"Alright. Wait up here?"
"Sure," the girl stated as she hopped onto her freshly made bed, pulling a book out from her nightstand drawer.
I walked into the bathroom and locked the door. After I showered and did all the necessities, I got dressed and put on light make up. I pulled my hair back into a pony.
The two of us grabbed our bags and made our way down the stairs.

Hermione and I were standing next to each other in Advanced Potions.
Much to my dismay, McGonagall had told me that it was a requirement for me to take N.E.W.T level potions in my sixth year and seventh year if I aspired to become a Healer.
So far, the only positive thing about potions this year was that Snape was not teaching it. Instead, Professor Slughorn was.
Suddenly, the doors to the classroom burst open and there stood two figures.
Ron Weasley and Harry Potter.
I thought they weren't taking this class?
I didn't realize that Harry lied- he said he and Ron got lost in the corridors, as if- until I turned around and saw the two boys wrestling each other at the book shelf.
I saw one nice and clean Advanced Potions book, which must have been a newly bought one. There was another one with a worn out spine and it took on the appearance as if it had been sitting on that shelf for years and years.
Ron got the new book, and Harry scowled as he got the ancient one. I heard him sneeze as he opened it. Particles of dust flew everywhere. Behind me, Ron was trying his hardest not to laugh. Some how, he was successful.
"Where were we?" Couchman asked, fixing his robes.
"You were telling us about this potion, sir," I stated.
"Oh, yes, yes! By any chance, Miss Potter, do you know what this potion is?"
I stepped forward and looked at the cauldron on the table.
Leaning down to take a good whiff of it, I realized what this potion exactly was.
"This is Amortentia, the strongest love potion in the world. It's title is taken from the French word amour, which means love.
"When you sniff it, you smell what you really love. For example, I smell a new book, pizza and a sweater."
Yes, I smell George's sweater.
"Correct! Five points to Gryffindor!"
"What's this one, Professor?" Hermione asked, pointing towards the small tiny vial on the table.
"Felix Felicis. Liquid Luck. The lucky one to receive it of all of you will be the one who can make the best Draught of the Living Death. Well? Get to it!"
I had a feeling that Harry would win, and he would do so by cheating.
Two updates in one day!?
