Madison Potter and the Half Blood Prince

A May 2nd Special

"Harry!" I exclaimed, trying my hardest to dodge falling walls as I did so.

Out of breath, I finally did catch up to him. He had a brave yet worried look on his face.

"Where are you going?" I panted.

"You know exactly where I am going," Harry replied, wiping a tear from his cheek.

"I'm coming with you," I intervened, courage suddenly rushing through my veins.

"What? No, you are not!" Harry protectively exclaimed as we ran
out of the castle, dodging spells every where we went.

"Yes I am!" I yelled at him when I finally caught up to him.

I noticed that we were right by Hagrid's Hut; so many memories had been made there. I felt a shot of sadness go through me at the memory of it being set on fire at the end of last year... The night Dumbledore died...

"No, you are not," he whisper yelled at me.

"Yes, I am," I whisper yelled back. My voice softened as I said, "He killed my parents. He killed our parents. He's the reason everybody we love is dead. And he can't just face the boy-who-lived. He has to face the girl-who-lived. He has to face both the boy-who-lived and the girl-who-lived. And he has to die."

Harry nodded his head; we walked into the forest, hand in hand. We squeezed each other's hand, bracing ourselves for what was to come.

I know that this special is short, but I thought this time I could give you a sneak peak for the Deathly Hallows book...
