Chapter 37

"Axus why did you asked me out?" nasa SM Megamall sila Narissa.
"What's wrong with asking the mother of my child out?" balik tanong nya na ikina pula na mukha ni Narissa. Natawa syang makitang namumula si Narissa and he gave her tulips. "How did you know? this is my favorite flower thanks" she accepted the flowers.
"I actually don't know what to give, but when I saw it, it reminds me of you" and lo he chuckled "let's go?" he asked as he extend his hands. "Where are we going?" she asked na parang na-awkward sya sa nangyayari.
"Just trust me" he smiled.
Nagdrive si Axus at dinala nya si Narissa sa isang bahay na may malaking garden.
Piniringan nya si Narissa at hinawakan ang kamay. Tinangal nya ang piring nang marating nila ang gitna ng garden.
"We're here" sabi pa nya.
"Wow so many flowers..where are we?" tanong nya.
"This is my property, I bought it three years ago..I want to settle here with my future wife" pahayag nya. Naglakad sya at inakay si Narissa paupo sa nakalatag na picnic set.
"what do you think? will my future wife will like this place?" he asked.
"yes.. It looks like paradise..I guess you prepared this place for Nashie?"
tumawa si Axus "Yes maybe---maybe before.. but time goes, things changes..come" at inaya nya syang umupo at inabutan nya ng may kalakihang picnic basket si Narissa "let's eat" sabi pa nya.
"Okay" binuksan ni Narissa ang basket nang bigla syang na gulat dahil biglang may lumipad ang maliliit na white and pink balloons from the basket at sa loob naman ay white and pink roses na may nag iisang tulip sa gitna with matching "Pick Me" note. She picked the tulip at nahulog mula sa bulaklak ang isang singsing. Nagtataka nyang tiningnan si Axus.
He picked the ring and knelt before her "Will you marry me Narissa?" tanong nya.
Naguguluhan si Narissa. hindi sya nakasagot.
Napansin iyon ng binata kaya nagsalita sya "I know I startled you. But I will wait patiently for your answer" he smiled and held her hands "you may think about it".
After they ate ay hinatid na ni Axus si Narissa, before he left he kissed her cheecks and asked "Can I visit you tomorrow night?"
She just noded.

Kinabukasan ng gabi habang nanonood sila Narissa at Nerrie ay lumapit ang katulong nila may inabot na sobre. May note na nagsasabing "Look from your window--Axus" at ginawa naman iyon ni Narissa.
Pagkabukas nya sa bintana ay nakakita sya ng baloon na may naka attached na letter "I"
Isa isang pinapakawalan ni Axus ang mga lobo na bumubuo ng katagang "I love you Narissa" lumapit si Nerrie at naki-usyoso dahil may nakita syang lobo with matching back ground music "Marry your Daughter" at may fire works effect pa.

"Ay infairness..Haba ng hair mo sakop buong milkyway! Partida buntis ka pa nyan!" puri ng nanay nya.

Si mommy parang ewan, tatay kaya yan nang anak ko di mo lang alam.

Nang maubos ang lobo at matapos ang kanta at tumigil ang fire works ay bumaba si Narissa at pinapasok sya sa loob ng bahay nila.
"C-come i-in" nauutal nyang sabi nang makita sa malapitan ang binata.
ba't ba ko nauutal! Chicha naman e! nakaramdam ako ng kaba but sheet of paper!!! kinilig ako!!"

nang marating nila ang living room ay dumating si Nerrie.
"Good evening madam" bati ni Axus.
"Welcome and good evening too" nginitian nito si Axus "Have a seat" she added. Nagpakuha rin sya ng food para sa binata.
Naupo naman si Narissa sa tabi ni Axus.
"Madam, I'll make it straight..I'm here to formally ask your permission to court your daughter" bold nyang pagkakasabi na ikinapula ng mukha ni Narissa.

what?! Are you serious na ligawan ako?

"You have your freedom" safe na sagot ni Nerrie. "I'll give you privacy, uhm excuse me" paalam nya pero agad din syang humarap "I haven't thanked you for saving their lives..Thank you very much"

"Anything for your daughters, especially Narissa" and he smiled.

"Okay I'll leave you now" saka ito umalis.

Tahimik pareho sila nang hawakan ni Axus ang kamay ni Narissa.
"Your hands are cold, are you not feeling well?"

"uhm no. I-I'm fine Axus...Uhm thanks for everything"

"Did you like it Narissa?"

"Y-yeah. You surprised me. I mean it. T-the message..you said that---"

"that I love you Narissa"

"yeah..h-how? I mean why? coz I know that you really love my sister"

"Yeah before..yes. But I don't know after that night I realized that I fell inlove with you--hindi ka mahirap mahalin. I don't know why di ka na maalis sa isip ko to the point that I put the judge to sleep and prentend as judge sa kasal nyo. So please allow me to prove that my love for you is true"

"baka dahil magkamukha kami ni Nashie at baka nakikita mo lang sya saakin, or maybe naawa ka lang sakin kaya mo yan---"

hindi nya naituloy ag sasabihin because he kissed her so tenderly.

"I love you not because I saw her in you. I love you without any reason. I just felt it and it was confirmed after that night. I love you for who you are. Please think about my proposal, saka magkaka-baby na tayo"
