Chapter 17

"Why is this so expensive?" Jinwoo sighed as he sat at his bedroom table, browsing for weapons.

Ari who'd only just entered the bedroom, raised a brow and walked towards him, before slinging her arms around his shouders, and placing her head on his shoulder. "What's so expensive?" She asked looking at the screen.

"I thought I had enough saved up by now..." Jinwoo mumbled, reaching a hand to pat the girl's head.

"Feel free to use my credit card, y'know?" Ari told him, kissing him on the cheek.

"No, Naekkeo." Jinwoo sighed, "I'm not using whatever you earned for weapons."

"Bu-"

"No." Jinwoo cut her off firmly, causing Ari to pout.

"Suit yourself." Ari yawned, "Goodnight Nampyeon." She pulled him into a searing kiss before abruptly pulling away and walking to the bed.

"Naekkeo..." Jinwoo groaned loudly, earning him a playful wink.

Time passed as Ari fell asleep, and Jinwoo continued to his search for weapons. It was all quiet except for Ari's soft breathing until,

"Oh? They're recruiting low-rank hunters?"

Jinwoo and Jinah sat at the table, having breakfast. Ari had already eaten her breakfast and was getting ready for the day.

"You're going to enter a dungeon as a miner?" Jinah dead-panned.

"What's so surprising?" Jinwoo asked lifting a morsel of rice with his chopsticks.

"Nothing..." Jinah sighed, before thinking to herself, 'I'd rather Oppa be a miner, than go on raids and hurt himself.'

"Anyway." Jinah got up from her seat and grabbed her bag, "I'll be leaving."

"Stay safe." Jinwoo nodded at her.

Jinah gave him a salute, before calling out, "Bye Unnie!" and walking out.

"Bye Jinah! Be careful! " Ari's muffled voice called out from the bedroom.

After finishing his breakfast, Jinwoo quickly cleared the table, and headed to his bedroom and knocked on the closed door, "Are you done, Nae Sarang? I need to change too."

"Come in, Nampyeon." Ari's voice called out.

Jinwoo opened the door and felt his eye's widen at the sight of his Ari. She was wearing a short, form-fitting, light blue dress that reached her mid-thigh. The dress showed off her collar bones, but that was covered by her wearing a white blazer. Her hair was in an updo, with few strands framing her face. She wore silver earrings that had Aquamarine stones embedded in it (He gifted her those earrings on their previous date). 

Jinwoo gulped, as he watched Ari lean forward towards the mirror, and apply lip gloss. His gaze darkened, as he watched her purse her lips ever so lightly. Satisfied, she turned towards her husband, "How do I-"

Ari let out a startled gasp as Jinwoo was suddenly in front of her and pulling her into a searing kiss. Ari let out a moan, causing Jinwoo to pull her close, his grip on her waist bruising. 

Finally Jinwoo pulled back, due to the lack of air. His dark eyes took in his wife's expression. Her eyes were dazed and glossy, a heavy blush on her face and lips parted, harsh breaths leaving her lips.

Jinwoo licked his lips, getting a taste of her cherry-ish lip gloss. He slid his hand down to her thigh, gently rubbed circles on the exposed skin. "Why so fancy today, Naekkeo?"
