Warnings: slight yandere?, Jinwoo is a simp.
Sung Jinwoo, a name feared in the underworld. A ruthless monster by all means. There isn't a single person who doesn't tremble at the mere mention of his name. With the most loyal army in the mafia, he is a force to be reckoned with. His moniker of 'Shadow Monarch', truly befitting by all means.
Jinwoo clicked his tongue, as wiped the blood of his knife, placing it into his pocket, and stepping out into the heavy downpour. He'd made quite a mess this time, but what else was to be done with sneaky informants?
Jinwoo sighed as he felt the rain wash away the blood on him, he stood there for a few minutes, waiting for Igris to come pick him up, when an umbrella was placed above his head. He turned around to look at the figure.
Jinwoo felt his breath hitch, 'An angel...' Was his first thought. There standing on her toes was a woman so... perfect, that Jinwoo, the Shadow Monarch, almost felt unworthy of being in front of her eyes. Long, thick white hair, a cute round face, pale skin, perfect plump lips, and... Oh, her eyes. Divine, beautiful, perfect, round and wide, dazzling, shining blue eyes that made his heart skip a beat.
"Are you fine mister?" the personification of perfection, asked him in the most melodious voice he had ever heard.
"I'm.. ok," Jinwoo grunted, his voice rough.
The ethereal being raised a perfect brow at him, "Ok?" She responded, clearly not believing him, "I'm Ari!" She smiled brightly, introducing herself.
Jinwoo felt breathless at her smile, "I.. am Jinwoo."
"Nice to meet you, Jinwoo." Ari grinned at him, " And um, can you hold the umbrella, my toes are hurting," She asked slightly embarrassed, as she continued to stand in her toes.
"Do your feet hurt a lot?" Jinwoo asked worriedly, as he took the umbrella from her hand, "do you need me to carry you?" He asked, concerned, for some reason.
"No!" Ari squeaked waving her hands wildly, "what are you doing in this downpour?" She asked, calming down slightly.
Jinwoo remained silent.
Ari stared at him, before nodding, "it's ok, you don't need to tell me," then she eyed him almost judgementally, " that must not be very comfortable, let's get you in something warmer, don't want you catching a cold."
Jinwoo just gaped at her, as she held his wrist and dragged him along, swinging their interconnected hands.
"Do you just randomly allow people to come into your house?" Jinwoo asked as they reached an apartment complex.
"Nope," Ari said, as she let go of his hand to unlock her apartment door. Jinwoo frowned at the loss of touch.
"Then why am I here?" Jinwoo asked as they stepped into the apartment.
"My instincts say you're a good person" Ari hummed flicking the light switch on. "What?" She turned around to see Jinwoo staring at her.
"Please don't trust your instincts," he mumbled underneath his breath.
"I'm sorry?" Ari asked leaning closer.
"I'm going to get your floor wet, considering I'm dripping" Jinwoo said instead.
"It can't be helped," Ari sighed, dragging him into the living room.
The house was fell furnished, the walls were painted with cool color, it seemed cozy. But it didn't feel like a home. There were no photo frames, and the place was hauntingly perfect, there was not a single thing that showed that a person lived here.
