A/N: Had to switch out a few characters. Sorry for the inconvenience!! That being said, it's time to say goodbye to this booklet. *wipes away a tear dramatically* The oneshot isn't how touchy-feely as I originally wanted, but it'll do.. it'll do.

Natsuki braided Ichiki's hair, occasionally popping in a blue hydrangea every now and then as she hummed. Ino was plumping up the Kuran's already full lips with a dark blue colour while Sakura was telling her easy ways to stay fit now that she was getting married. The red band around Ichiki's finger felt so warm, just as it did after Sasuke slid it into place after palming it anxiously for half an hour.

"Stop smothering her," Naoki complained, jealous that the other women were so close to her onee-sama.

That being said, Natsuki was also Naoki's older sister. However, she shared a deeper bond with the raven haired sibling as they spent much more time together given their ages.

"Naoki-chan, do you want to my nails?" Ichiki looked over her bare shoulder, smiling.

Sitting down, she held out her hands and grinned as her younger twin rushed over with a vile of black nail polish. The younger blonde Kuran gladly applied the liquid to the ravenette's fingertips, humming gaily as she did a protective coating.

Across the hall was Sasuke Uchiha, pacing despite his party imploring him to remain both still and calm. His mutterings did to soothe his best man or the man that would be walking a child down the aisle.

"You thought this through already, Uchiha-kun," Takehiko wasn't about to let him break his daughter's heart.

"Yeah teme, it took you a year to buy the ring," Naruto was panicking.

Sasuke looked down at his red band, a plain ring with no decorations or lavish jewels. It was simple, as were he and his lover. The rings were supposed to symbolise the red string, but now he was doubting his decision. All of his decisions, actually. He pondered over what would have happened if he had given Sakura Haruno a chance, or if he had been with Ino Yamanaka. Of course, he would've robbed Rock Lee and Sai of their respective happy endings, but he still wondered. Sasuke also questioned whether or not he was ready to wed, or if Ichiki was prepapred.

"Look, I know that I'm not romantic in the least bit. But, I love you and you love me. I've put a lot of thought into this, and I think it'll make the both of us very happy. So, Ichiki, please be my wife."

"I'm even less romantic than you for accepting it," her tone was warm.

He had put a lot of thought into it, but the cons were becoming quite hard to ignore. First off, her father hated his entire family. Then there the problem of buying a house and how long to wait until trying for children. When the children came, he'd have to raise them. He'd need to change diapers and feed them, getting broken sleep as their needs would be supreme to his own.

"As long as we're together, I'll be the happiest woman on this Earth."

She was willing, at that moment, to hand over her entire life. So was he, but was that still the case?

"Sasuke-kun, you're ready. She's ready. Don't worry about it," Itachi ruffled his hair.

"Nii-San," Sasuke scowled, fixing his hair.

"Don't sweat it. She's a gem," Kankuro and Aoi gave him encouraging grins.

"Ogle up somebody that isn't marrying someone else," Sasuke rolled his eyes.

Kankuro was actually going to propose to Natsuki after the reception and Aoi was Ichiki's brother, so Sasuke's statement was more or less pretended not to be heard.

"If you don't marry her, I'll be a happy stand-in," Charasuke smirked.

"Doofus, you bleached your hair and you've got pierced ears. Not to mention, Ichiki is mine. Back the fuck off, nii-san."

"So, you're getting married?" Fugaku was as solemn as ever.

"Naturally."

"This woman, I marry. No matter what the health situation is, I will love this person, respect this person, console this person, help this person. Until death, protecting fidelity. I swear," Sasuke vowed, a fire in his onyx eyes.

"This man, I marry. No matter what the health situation is, I will love this person, respect this person, console this person, help this person. Until death, protecting fidelity. I swear," Ichiki promised, her smile full of radiance.

Takehiko held onto his sobbing wife, the parents in awe of the ceremony.

"Groom, Sasuke Uchiha, you this woman marry and become her partner.
Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?" Kakashi gave his former student a pointed look.

"Yes, I promise." Sasuke nodded.

"Bride, Ichiki Kuran, you this man marry and become his partner.
Will you in peaceful times, during sickness, this person love, this person respect, this person comfort, this person help, until death, do you promise to fulfil?"

"Yes, I promise."

"You may kiss the bride," Kakashi smiled.

So he did, cupping her face and kissing her lips as though he'd die the moment their mouths disconnected.

"I now pronounce you man and wife," Kakashi was proud.

Some odd years down the road, Ichiki changed her name to Kohaku. She also gifted Sasuke with seven children, six of which came out in pairs of twins. As for Sasuke, he was rather content with his new life and role as the head of a family.

Life was good to him.
