Horror Flicks

Kankuro and Sasuke rubbed at the back of their heads, unsure as how they'd been lured into this current situation. It was supposed to be a double date, but now there were well over five couples present and the girls were clinging to their lovers -- possibly to keep them from fleeing.

Ichiki Kuran stood next to Sasuke, not making physical contact but standing close. Her eye occasionally twitched when one of the other females squealed, but her stoic expression remained unchanging for the most part.

Natsuki Kuran, however, was running around like a wild animal. Her pixie cutblonde hair fleeted subtly about as she made sure that the many couples were in agreement before returning to her beau and the pale ravens.

"Everyone wants to see a horror!" Natsuki proudly announced.

"Hinata-chan wants to see a whatnow?" Kankuro's eyes nearly fell out of their sockets from how wide his eyes had gotten.

"It's excuse to become physically attached to her lover," Ichiki bluntly explained.

"Rock Lee will probably use it to leap into Sakura-chan's arms," Sasuke scoffed, barely hiding his amusement.

"That would be very hilarious," Natsuki was now cheering on the jumpsuited lad.

After the group seemed to calm down for the most part, Ichiki led them towards the cinema and paid for the tickets to see the recently popular movie. The teens filed inside, heading towards the concession stand first. Chōji and Karui opted to get separate meals, though the only couples were sharing snacks and drinks, due to Chōji's larger appetite. They held hands, despite struggling to not drop any of the sugar filled treats, which prompted most of the other couples to do as well. Only two duos did not, those two being 'SasuIchi' and 'Menmasuko' as they weren't publicly affectionate towards one another.

Natsuki took the lead now, tugging on Kankuro Sabaku's hand as he flashed her an adoring smile.

Everyone herded into the assigned theatre, sinking into their designated seats. A few previews played first, attempting to entice the youngsters into spending even more of their hard earned pay cheques at Konoha Regal as it was the only theatre in town. Natsuki wanted to see one of the displayed titles upon its release date of four months later, giving her brown haired love the most potent of puppy eyes. Naturally, Kankuro caved and she promptly thanked him with a chaste kiss to the temple. He blushed for a few moments afterwards, earning a chuckle from Sayaka "Sasuko" Uchiha at how lovesick men could become.

It was nearly half an hour later when the actual movie came onto the screen, the various couples quietly complaining about the lengthy wait. The feature started out as they typically due; some half naked blonde running across the lawn with someone or something chasing after her. Ichiki yawned, choosing to instead snuggle into her twin sister seated next to her than to watch the rest of what seemed to be an incredibly predictable film.

Somewhere during the two and half hours of the duration, Ichiki's head went from Naoki Kuran's shoulder to Sasuke Uchiha's. Natsuki peeked over, pointing over for Kankuro to look. So he did, smirking as he rummaged around for his cellular phone. He quickly snatched a photo of the two sleeping ravens, chuckling at their position. Her head was on his shoulder, his head atop of hers, and their fingers were intertwined. To make it even better, Sasuke was grinning in his sleep.

The cute moment was short lived when Natsuki shrieked at the top of her lungs, immediately launching herself directly into Kankuro'sstartled lap.

"SAVE ME," she begged.

He patted the crown of her skull, smiling sweetly.

Oh, how Kankuro loved horror flicks.
