Meant to Be

Manahimeko and Mahina watched as their classmate, Mafumi, paced anxiously around the room. The poor girl was muttering about Sonero, a girl from the class above them. Apparently, she'd caused a messy breakup of a couple in the highest class of their grade, 3-A. The students that were now former lovers, Sasuke Uchiha and Ichiki Kuran, could be heard bickering through the wall. Mafumi glanced up, sending an uneasy look their way though they could not see it.

Mahina stood, gripping onto the circling woman's shoulders and pulling her to a stop.

"What happened?" Mahina asked.

"I was walking with Yuuki and Yuki when Sonero burst into their classroom with a positive pregnancy test an-"

"A what now?!"

"One of Ichiki's sisters took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. Sonero tricked Ichiki into thinking that they were friends and went over to study, but she grabbed the test and left."

"She just told you that?" Mahina arched a brow.

"Well, no, not me. We have a mutual friend named Shiha that she told, though. Shiha voted for Sasuke and Ichiki as the cutest couple in the yearbook."

"Sonero must've been looking for dirt on Kuran-chan, but took the opportunity when she saw the positive test results. She must've really wanted to hurt Kuran-chan," Manahimeko frowned.

Out of the three of them present, Manahimeko was the only one to not have actually met Ichiki Kuran.

"Why didn't Shiha tell them?" Mahina questioned Mafumi.

"They're intimidating!" Mafumi screeched, fearful already.

"Kuran-chan thinks that Uchiha-kun cheated on her, though."

Mahina released Mafumi and left their designated class. Since it was lunch, the teachers didn't exactly mind. She headed towards the sounds of shattered trust and quickly entered the top class, instantly feeling overwhelmed. Everyone was smarter and they looked stronger as well. Well she wasn't looking for a fight, she didn't know if she'd be getting one or not from what she had to say.

"Ichiki Kuran, you've been deceived."

It was worth a try, right?

"I know," she glared at Sasuke.

"For the love of Buddha, I didn't sleep with her! I'm just as much a virgin as you are!"

"Sonero is not your friend, nor is she with child."

Sonero held up the evidence that claimed otherwise.

"Let me DNA test it if you're so certain that that's yours," Mahina openly glared at Sonero.

"What?"

"I'd like to assume that you're not carrying around someone else's pee stick, but I'm fairly sure that Sasuke loves Ichiki and wouldn't betray her."

"It's mine."

"It's not," Mahina and Sasuke snapped.

Mahina grabbed it and made a beeline for the door.

"OKAY! OKAY! It's not mine. It's her older sister, Natsuki's. I just wanted Sasuke to love me and I wanted Ichiki to get hurt!" Sonero admitted.

Ichiki's spine stiffened, her body twisting itself in Sonero's general direction.

"You lied?"

When there wasn't a reply, Ichiki growled.

"YOU FUCKING LIED?!"
