Guardian Angel

A/N: This was cute, so I borrowed it from my Sebastian oneshot booklet on Quotev... Sssshhhh... Oh, and I'm making Sasuke 6'2" instead of 5'2". (Everyone else is a foot taller too.)

Sasuke watched as the love of his existence, fell headfirst into their garbage can. With a sigh, he reached in with his long and pale arms to fish out the lovely alabaster girl that was just a few inches shorter than he was. Upon being released from her prison, she coughed and a piece of lettuce fell onto the man's lap. Ignoring this, the Uchiha cleaned up the Kuran woman and sighed heavily. Humans lived fleetingly lives, and that's when they were coordinated... Especially when they dated shinobi who were supposed to be on the run because they might've killed a bunch of people....!

"What's wrong?" Ichiki cupped his strong hands in her own little ones.

"It's nothing," he smiled sadly.

She pressed a featherlight kiss to his cheek and nestled into his tender embrace, relishing his warmth.

"Ya know... You're more like a guardian angel than a rogue ninja," she sighed in content.

"An angel?"

"No, not an angel. A guardian angel," she corrected with a sigh, kissing his exposed neck.

"Because I protect you from evil trash cans?"

"No, silly! Because you saved me from myself," she whispered, cuddling into him further.

Sasuke kissed her temple and eased into the chair, his strong back resting against the fresh wood. As his beloved drifted off to sleep with her criminal companion rubbing her back smoothly, she imagined what the mortal would look like as an angel.

Sleep overwhelmed her, but not before he see her innocent little smile.

"Guardian," she yawned, "angel."

With that, she succumbed to slumber. And what about Sasuke? He was more than content with his new set of wings.
