Sasuke couldn't sleep, so he tried to take his mind off of things. He hadn't meant to come out into the training grounds, and yet that's where he found himself. The wind blew softly, playing with his ebony hair that only glowed under the true moonlight. Though he couldn't explain it, Sasuke Uchiha finally felt calm as he looked longingly towards Selene and her lunar beauty. He remembered when Ichiki Kuran told him about the sun giving the nyght something to brighten up the darkness and show off her beauty. Of course, she had referred to the sun as Apollo and to the nyght as Nyx for some reason.

Sasuke sighed, deciding to just stop thinking. Feeling tired in mind, body, and soul, he laid out on the smooth green grass and stargazed. A shooting star zoomed across the black darkness, so he pressed his eyelids shut and made a wish.

He felt something soft brush against his skin, like a bird's feather only much longer. Curious, he opened his sleepy eyes and saw Ichiki looming over him with her usual smirk.

"Do you waste all your wishes on women?" She scoffed.

"I didn't waste it," he surged to his feet and pulled her against him.

"Sasuke, you know that humans and an-"

He cut her off with a kiss, and it was clear that Ichiki missed this as much as he did. They broke apart very shortly to breath before the lone avenger turned beloved protector brought his lips back to those of the grim reaper turned angel, something that only happened when grim reapers fell in love. Sasuke could taste her salty tears as they trailed down her beautiful face, but he chose to ignore it and kissed her all the more passionately. He had to convey his love for her, even if he could only have this one stolen moment with his lover.

"Sasuke Uchiha, you could make the moon herself blush..." Ichiki chuckled and shook her head.

He closed his eyes, letting free his own tears as he kissed her forehead.

"I'm not in love with the moon, though. I'm in love you."
