Sasuke Uchiha didn't do nervous or shy, he barely even did angry or annoyed. That's just how he was. It's also how his lover, Ichiki Kuran, was. There was one difference though, Sasuke preferred to hold hands and Ichiki liked hugs. The display of their mutual affections were rare, so it's a problem that little affected their relationship. They kissed, if only to show their surrounding peers that one another was claimed.

However, today was meant to be all about love and the two ravens frowned at the notion. The over abundance of chocolate also caused them great dismay, each of them visibly sickened by the suffocating scent of the candy that literally showed up everywhere.

"Please accept these!!!"

"I LOVE YOU!"

"LET ME HAVE YOUR BABIES!"

Or in Ichiki's case, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE MY BABIES?!"

For the most part, they either avoided humanity entirely or attempted to stay with their friends that were dating someone. Naturally, they could only handle that in small intervals as their lovey-doveyness was grossing out the stoic faced couple.

"Like we don't run for our lives enough," Sasuke wheezed, hands on his knees.

"Shut up before they hear us," Ichiki hissed as silently as she could.

When they heard footsteps and whispers, each teen shot out their hands and cupped one another's mouth. As they got closer, the horrified duo sank back further into the broom closet in which they'd found safety. Fearful, Ichiki wrapped her arms around Sasuke and buried her face in his strong chest. Appearing reflexively, he returned the embrace and patted the back of her head.

"I'm scared," she whimpered.

His onyx eyes lowered from their impending doom to her diamond gaze, taking in all of the tears that streamed down her trembling visage. He hadn't noticed that she was shaking, clicking his tongue in irritation.

Ichiki had Social Anxiety and Asperger's Syndrome, which made her extremely frightened of interactions with fellow humans as well as leaving her with the inability to do most basic expressions unless she tried really hard. She likewise could not read the facial expressions of others. Meanwhile, he'd developed an inferiority complex due to how everyone seems to prefer his eldest sibling over him. Sasuke also had Asperger's, which left him to wallow in silence with the perfectly crafted disguise of arrogance.

Sasuke stroked her dampened cheeks with his smooth thumbs, trying to send her a reassuring look.

"They're getting closer," she bit her lip, closing her eyes tightly.

From previous experiences, he knew how to soothe her. It left him feeling exposed and awkward, though.

Well, she's exposed so...

He cupped her cheeks, angling her head so she was accessible and rubbed the tip of his nose against her forehead. Next, Sasuke's nose met her own and she was noticeably shaking less. The Uchiha then traced her full lips with his thumb, opting to give her a small peck and even smaller smile.

"I love... you," he could tell that he was blushing.

Ichiki tilted her head to the side, the perfect picture of innocence.

With that, he sealed his lips over hers and hugged her tightly. Her hands were on his chest and he would never admit how much he enjoyed her warmth, though he felt as though she already secretly knew. Maneuvering so that it was his back towards the door, he eased her against the door and peppered down her neck with soft kisses.

"Oi, they're in here!"

Sasuke sweatdropped, looking over his shoulder to see his best bud standing there with the biggest grin.

Of course, it was of the shit eating type.

"We were... we were worried," Hinata clung to his side, embarrassed to have seen what she had just seen.

Rock Lee and Sakura Haruno, the next sat of sweethearts, ran into the closet next to see where their companions had gone.

"Normally one says to get a room. Does that include closets?" Sai asked Ino, his beau of three years.

"Mmmhmm," she nodded enthusiastically.

"May we find our own closet?" Sai suggested.

They were gone as quickly as they had arrived.

"Cha, why is her face all red?" Sakura peeked at Ichiki's flushed face.

"IT MUST THE OVEREXERTION OF YOUTH!" Rock Lee vehemently nodded, flashing winks and smiles in all directions.

Ichiki buried her face into Sasuke's chest again, wailing about how embarrassing the situation was.

This awoke Sasuke's inner sadist.

With a smirk, the Uchiha leaned down to whisper into her ear: "Aren't you going to say it back to me?"

Her eyes widened and a blush spread out across her cheeks.

"Well?" His hands were massaging her thighs now.

"I... I, huh, l-love you... too..."

"Hmm? What was that?"

"I LOVE YOU TOO, YOU PORCUPINE HEADED ARSEHOLE!"

Chuckling, he wrapped an arm around her and cleared through their clique. They made it to their lockers with little to no interference, much to their amazement and Sasuke's approval.

"So, do I get a present?" Sasuke teased.

"Not after that stunt," she was back to herself, albeit slightly more angry.

"I got you one," he held out his hand to her after fishing around in his pocket.

"Lint doesn't count," she rolled her eyes, holding out her palm to collect his garbage.

Instead, warm beads fell against her alabaster palm and she gasped at the feel. The sight also knocked her back a few pegs, realising that the prayer beads weren't even storebought... unless the Uchiha family crest had become fashionable since she last went shopping.

"This... is... thank you..."

She awkwardly slipped it on, hiding it under her uniform jacket and blouse.

"Well, it is Valentine's Day and I love... you," he averted his gaze, scratching at his cheek as he blushed.

Timidly, she took a step closer and kissed a rosy cheek.

"You can have a present after school," she looked down, nervously staring at her shoes.

He readily accepted.
