~Daren~
I walked into my new shared house. I shared it with Veronica, Miranda, and Miranda's family. It's been a few days since we got here and everything's been quiet. It was nice.
"Daren!" Miranda called from wherever she was.
"What?' I yelled back. I heard footsteps coming from down a hallway.
"There's a huge toothpaste mess in the bathroom and I need you to clean it up." she said. Her blond hair was up in a ponytail. The lighting in the room made some of it look almost gray. Strange.
"It wasn't me!" I defended myself.
"I never accused you of it." She answered skillfully. I never knew Miranda could be so smart.
I groaned and walked off to the bathroom. When I walked in I saw the mess I left this morning. Toothpaste was blotted in different areas of the sink. I'm not a clean person, but even this was a little extreme.
I spent the next five minutes cleaning it all up.
"I'm done!" I sighed to myself. As I walked out of the bathroom I ran right into Mr. Smith.
"Whoa! Watch where you're going!" He joked.
"Sorry." I laughed. The conversation wasn't over though.
"Hey, Daren. I need to talk to you." He said.
"Er...sure." I answered.
"Now this isn't the normal dad to boy talk. I need you to know that." His face turned more serious. I nodded in response.
"Of course it isn't. We're werewolves, after all! That's a reason why we need to talk." He continued on. "Miranda will need help through all of this mess. I know you'll help her." I made a little awkward smile. Gosh this was really getting awkward!
"One more thing before I let you go!" He said. "Prom is tomorrow night. All there is is dancing. Okay?" He pointed a finger at me.
"Yes sir." I answered. He laughed and walked away. I let out a breath of relief. He could be very scary.
I went into the living room and sat down. The remote was jammed in between the couch cushions. I fished it out and flipped on the TV. I just kept going through the channels.
No. No. Definitely not! Maybe. Ok, here's a channel! I stopped flipping as 'I am Legend' came on. It was a really good movie.
I sat there through half the movie until my eyes felt heavy. I shut them and drifted to sleep.
~Miranda~
"Hey, Daren did you-" I stopped talking when I walked into the living room. Daren was fast asleep while a creepy movie was set on the TV. I switched it off and walked out o the room.
When I walked into the bathroom it was clean. Good Daren, I thought to myself and smiled. I looked in the mirror at myself. Training had been tough today and my hair was all frizzy, even though it was in a ponytail. My forehead was sticky with sweat. Best to take a shower.
I jumped into the shower and let the warm water run down my sore muscles. I quickly washed my hair and body then got out. A white fluffy towels was wrapped around me as I dried my hair.
I threw on underwear and a bra before pulling on a black tank top and jeans. Deciding not to put make up on, I walked out to the living room. Daren wasn't there anymore, but the TV was back on. The remote was lying on the floor. I picked it up and searched for my shows.
A 'Pretty Little Liars' repeat came on so I kept it on that. I watched the whole hour long episode then flipped the TV off. I sighed out of boredom.
