~Miranda~
Black. Everything turned black. I couldn't see and all I could feel was the excruciating, burning pain all over my body. I could feel change I just don't know how to describe it. I could hear someone trying to comfort me then pulling out their phone and dialing a number. They were yelling to the person on the other end of the phone. Finally it was over. I passed out and couldn't hear anything, see anything, feel anything. I felt at peace.
~Amanda~
Miranda kept screaming in pain and her body was twitching. I've seen this happen before, but not like this. Something was different and very wrong. I said a few comforting things to her before taking my phone out and dialing Veronica's number.
"Hello?" She answered.
"Veronica it's happening and something is wrong! I don't know what to do I need help!" I rushed out.
"Ok calm down. I'm going over there now." She said and hung up. I began to calm a little bit.
"Alright everything will be ok." I uselessly calmed the unconscious Miranda. "Everything will be fine." I was saying it to myself now. I guess I was the one who really needed it.
~Veronica~
"Daren you're in charge while I'm gone!" I rushed out and began to run before he could question me.
"Wait! Where are you going?" He asked me.
"Just running a few errands. Don't worry." I answered with a smile. He laughed. "Why are you laughing?" I asked.
"Come on. Seriously? Where are you going?" He knew me too well. I sighed.
"Just take care and don't get worried. I'm just heading to check on Miranda real quick." I tried to make him understand.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Ill explain later. Right now there's no time. Be careful Daren." I jumped into my car and sped off down the road. This had to be bad.
An hour later I got back to the house. I had never buckled and I didn't turn off my car, just ran toward the two figure that were Amanda and Miranda. Amanda was freaking out and crying and Miranda..well. She was a wolf. Sort of. She had beautiful snow white fur and looked like she was fine, but she wouldn't wake up. I could hear her heart beating so I knew she was alive but she was over heating.
"Calm down Amanda. Everything will he fine." I started to tell Amanda. "Now just hurry and get me a bucket of ice water. Now." She ran as fast as she could. I bent down toward Miranda and pet her.
"I always knew the transformation was difficult, " I said to myself. "but this is ridiculous." A minute later Amanda was back with a bucket filled to the tip with ice water.
"What now?" She asked. I took the bucket from her and dumped it all over Miranda.
"We just have to keep her body temperature from overheating. Go get another bucket." I ordered. She seemed to want to question me, but set off to fill up the bucket again.
Miranda cooled down a bit, although she was still burning hot. Her breathing slowed a tad. I think my plan is actually working.
3 buckets of ice water later and I tell Amanda she can take a break. Amanda uses this time to take a quick nap. Who could blame her? I decided to call Daren real quick. It's 5 p.m. so the fighting shouldn't be bad and everyone should be returning to their bases.
When I checked my phone I notice 5 missed calls from Daren. Oops. When I call him it rings twice and he immediately picks up.
"Veronica!" He seems worried but relief also fills his hoarse voice.
"Daren. How are you?" I ask casually. He of course ignores my question.
"What's going on with Miranda? Is she ok?"
"She's fine. Just a little temperature." I fib. I wouldn't count it as a lie.
"That's not what it seemed like earlier." Damn he's smart.
"Don't worry. Everything's fine. I should be back tomorrow afternoon. Ill call if my plans change. Make sure Ethan and David are on night watch tonight. Good luck Daren." I say quickly.
"Uh ok. Ill call tomorrow. Thanks bye." He says and I quickly hang up. I stuff my phone in my back jean pocket and walk over to the still unconscious white wolf. I pick her up and swing her over my shoulder to bring her inside for the night. Maybe I should keep her near the freezer to keep her cool. I decided to just lay a thin blanket on the kitchen floor and keep her there. Miranda you sure are a lot of work.

Hey guys! How is everyone? Sorry about being late but that's probably how this is going to be. The story is coming to a close though so it won't be for long.
I'm deleting Run as Fast as You Can. I can't deal with two books as I can barely keep up with one. I'm sorry I don't get home until 8 p.m. It's very difficult to keep up but I'm trying hard.
Thank you for sticking with me! love you all!! <3
