Michigan? Michigan is almost six hours away. Why would he want to go there? I mean, I respect his decisions and I support him a hundred percent but isn't there other choices that he can choose that is closer to home?
"Why there, Zak?" I asked, curiously.
"Well the tuition there is cheaper." He replied.
"Baby, I don't think it's a good idea."
We stopped walking and he looked at me confused. "Why is it a bad idea?"
"Zak, I just don't."
"What do you mean you just don't, y/n? You have to have a reason why."
"With the situation that we are in right now, I don't think we can be able to move there. I think you should find one that is more closer to home."
He clenched his jaw in anger. "So you don't support me?"
"Baby," I sighed. "I do-"
"No you don't!" He exclaimed. "If you did you would of respected that."
I stared at him in disbelief. "Zak, you're not understanding what I'm talking about."
"Yes I do. You want to get your career started before mine. I completely understand."
He began walking as I stared back at him. How could he say that? That pissed me off even more. I began to follow him. "What are you talking about?! I'm not thinking about myself right now! I'm thinking about how we could be financially prepared when the baby comes." I grabbed his arm to stop as I couldn't catch up to him. "I want to make sure that my baby is taken care of before we fly across the d*mn country!"
"You said that the job will pay you what like twenty thousand a year? We will be fine, babe! And plus when I get a job we'll still have money coming in!"
"Forget it, Zak! Just forget it! When the time comes we'll discuss this!"
"Fine!"
I stomped towards where the boardwalk was and sat on the bench to put on my shoes. I hate it when Zak and I fight. It doesn't feel right at all because we hardly fight like this. I let out a sigh and crossed my arms, seeing Zak from the corner of my eye sit down next to me. "Babe, I'm sorry for talking like that to you. I know you wouldn't do that. I just got mad and thought you didn't agree to what career path that I wanted to follow."
"No, baby." I smiled and grabbed his hand. "I'm okay with whatever you want to pursuit your dreams in. You just didn't understand what I was trying to tell you. I just want to make sure that we are okay with our finances. I don't want to wait four years later and find out that we don't have enough money to go to Michigan. That's the only problem I have with that. Other than that I'm down for whatever career you want to do."
He smiled and gave me a kiss. "I understand completely. I'm sorry."
"I accept your apology. Now can we please go get something to eat?"
"Alright." He chuckled, getting up and helping me up after.
We ended up going to a seafood place, then headed back on the boardwalk two hours later. We had so much fun. I haven't had that much fun in forever. It's fun being with him. He's so spontaneous, which I love about him and he makes the fun times the best times.
We didn't get home until nine. I was in the shower trying to get the sand out of my hair. I don't know how it managed to get sand in it but it was making me more frustrated. Shortly after I managed to get it all out. I got out and dried off before going to the room to change. Zak was in the bed on his phone.
"Did you make sure the door was locked before laying down?" I asked, slipping on a pair of old shorts.
"Yeah." He put his phone on the charger and turned on the tv. As I got in bed to get on my phone, Zak wrapped his arms around me and began to plant kisses on my neck. I giggled and said, "Zak what are you doing?"
He ignored me and hovered on top of me, continuing to kiss my neck. He wraps my leg around his waist and began to grind his hips on to me. I let out a soft moan as I ran my fingers through his hair. His actions was making me go crazy. I want to take him right here, right now but I can't.
He looked at me and smiled before kissing me passionately. I could taste mint that lingered on his tongue which made me crave him more. It felt like eternity as we kissed. We stopped to catch our breaths, panting in each others faces as we stared into each others eyes. I love staring into those blue orbs. It's like I lose focus of everything when I stare back into them.
"I love you so much, y/n." He said, pushing a strand of hair behind my ear. "You're so beautiful and sweet and caring and funny. People like you are rare to find. But I'm glad that I was one of the lucky ones to find you."
That touched my heart so much that I shed a tear. Why am I so freaking emotional? He wiped it away before kissing my cheek. "I love you, too." I said, smiling. "And I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
He kissed me again before turning off the lamp on my night stand and getting back in the bed. I laid my head on his chest, hearing his steady heart beat as it was putting me to sleep. I heard him talking about something before my eyes got heavy and I went to sleep.
Vomment! Thank you :)
