Before I could haul a*s to the front of the room, Bryan motioned for me to sit next to him. I sighed and maneuvered my way to the desk and sat down. "How did you end up here?" I said, cutting right to the point.

"Hello to you, too, y/n." He chuckled, staring ahead and playing with his pen. "I see that you're pregnant."

"That's very rude to tell a woman, which doesn't surprise me coming from you. How did you even know?"

"It's that twat Zak who got you pregnant, isn't it?"

I crossed my arms and leaned back into my seat. "Don't call him that. And yes it is. Is that a problem?"

"And you're engaged? He didn't waste anytime, I see."

I rolled my eyes, getting frustrated at him. "Why did you call me over here?"

He chuckled again and shrugged. "What? I can't catch up on old friends?"

I put up my fist. "There you go. It sure did miss beating the crap out of you."

He continued to laugh. I so wanted to take my textbook and beat the heck out of him. "You're funny. I wish I got to know you more back in high school."

"I sure didn't want to know you." I said, bluntly. "So how did you end up here?"

He tapped the top of my head with his pen. "I have brains just like you, y/n."

"Out of all of the colleges in the world and you had to choose here?" I mumbled, putting my bag on the floor.

"The next for years are going to be great with you, too." He grinned, then focused on the professor.

I groaned and slouched in my seat. Why did he have to be here? Why in my class especially? When I left high school I was for sure certain that I won't have to see his ugly face again. Talk about a small world.

Class finally ended and I couldn't wait to leave. I headed over to the library after. As I sat there I couldn't stop thinking about that sick individual I've encountered earlier. Why does he sound envious when he says Zak's name? If he has a thing for me I'm demanding a class change. I can't be around him, around his presence. He's annoying for crying out loud! When Zak finds out about this he's going to flip.

*A few hours later*

"Are you kidding me?!" He said in shock, making him grip the steering wheel tighter.

I nodded as I was scrolling on my phone, leaning on my elbow. "And what made me mad is the fact that he's actually there, like legit there sitting next to me."

He shook his head in disbelief. "I can't believe this. I wish I was there to tell him off. Why didn't you just ignored him?"

I sighed and sat my phone in my lap. I knew he was going to say that. "I don't know. But Wednesday I'm definitely not."

"Just thinking of him talking to you pisses me off."

"Baby, you don't have to worry about that." I grabbed his hand to calm him down, which it did, and I gave it a kiss. "I won't even make eye contact with him."

He glanced over at me and smiled. "This is why I love you."

I blushed. "I love you, too."

"What do you want for dinner?" He asked. "And no we are not getting pizza."

I frowned. I've been craving pizza nonstop for since we moved in. "I need pizza, Zak."

"I'm sure Charlie is saying the opposite. I'm tired of eating pizza, babe."
