*2 months later*
These past two months are going great, except for going through this torture you call pregnancy. I've been having the worst mood swings. I would get mad for no reason at anyone who would come near me and I feel really terrible about it. Most of my anger is thrown towards Zak and I don't know how he hasn't killed me already. He's so calm and sweet and understands what I'm going through. I wouldn't be surprised if he snaps on me one of these days.
Now I'm sitting at work, snacking on some almonds. It's not my desirable snack because my personal nutritionist, a.k.a Zak, said I should eat them because the magnesium in them will help reduce the risk of premature pregnancy and helps the baby's nervous system. I'm not mad at him at all for doing this. If it wasn't for him I would definitely been eating a Whopper from Burger King right now killing my baby.
I saw April, who is for sure one of my best friends now, enter the library. She smiled as she approached me. "Hey Ms. twenty-five weeks. How are you?"
"I'm good, besides wanting to puke up these almonds. I told Zak while he was out yesterday to get me an Almond Joy. His a*s comes back with a bag of Almonds."
"Oh I'm so sorry." She lightly laughed, then going to her bag and pulling out a chocolate bar. "Here, you can have. It was going to be for Aaron, but he'll be okay."
"Thank you so much. I haven't had any chocolate in the past week." I rip the paper open and took a huge bite of chocolate, making my eyes roll back and letting out a satisfying sigh. "I needed this. So how are you?"
"I'm good. I was going to go walk around but it's too cold out. So I decided to come see you."
"You're too sweet." I took another bite of the chocolate and popped an almond in my mouth. "Our professor needs to chill out with this writing assignment. How is he going to expect us to use only our notes we wrote in class and use them to help us write when we haven't hardly took notes."
"I'm not going to use those half page notes. He's tripping on acid."
"Preach." I finished my candy bar and almonds and threw my trash away. I should throw myself in the trash for eating that, knowing that I'm not suppose to eat that. "Now I feel guilty."
"Don't feel bad. It's not like he's going to notice-" Her phone began to ring, making the sound seep out from her pocket and through out the library and everyone's attention went towards her. I couldn't help but shake my head and chuckle as she struggled to get it out of her pants.
"I thought I turned the ringer down." She said through her clenched teeth as she began to answer it. "Hey, babe...no I'm almost dressed. I'm going to meet you in the parking lot...okay...bye. Oh my gosh, I completely forgot about our date!" She whispered, her face turning redder then before. "He's already headed to the parking lot to meet me!"
My mouth dropped. How can she forget about that. I even remembered and she told me about it. "Girl, you better run across campus like your life depends on it!"
"I am." She laughed, backing away from the desk. "See you later."
I waved at her goodbye, then I began to realize that there was someone waiting for me to scan their books. "I am so sorry." I said politely as I blushed.
The young man chuckled and waved a hand at me. "It's fine, unless you give me your number."
"Um," I raised my left hand as I handed him his books. "I'm engaged."
He scowled and snatched the books from my hands and walked away. I mumbled, "A*shole." To add with my mood swings, I'm also a potty mouth. I've said words that I'm not proud of saying and I'm sure Charlie could hear them.
