The next morning arrived and I was scared. My dad and Zak's mom are coming back today and we have to break the news to them about the pregnancy. It's going to be hard telling them. We decided that we are keeping the baby. I don't want to give it away because that'll be heartbreaking giving it up, since it came out of me. We haven't decided on naming it yet but I do have some ideas.

The way that we are going to tell them this is to bring Zak's mom to my house so we can settle it here. I'm not sure what what she would do if she finds out that her son knocked up his best friend. I wonder how would they react when we got together. I think not as bad as they would find out about the pregnancy.

I got in the shower and started thinking over on what to say to my father. All I hope is that my dad doesn't kick me out. If he does, I wouldn't know where to go. I'm his only child. He can't do that to me, especially at the fact that I am still in school. I got out of the shower and dried off, then went to go get dressed. I don't have much time to think of what to say to him. He comes home around eleven and it's almost to that time.

I headed downstairs after to make breakfast, then went to go watch some t.v. to kill time. I heard the door open a few minutes later. I turned to see my dad making his way through the door, shutting it and sitting his stuff down. "Hey dad." I said as I go over to hug him.

He returned the hug and kissed my forehead. "Hey, pumpkin. How are you?"

I shrugged. "I'm okay." I lied. "How was the trip?"

He took off his suit jacket and said "It was alright. Kind of boring."

I lightly laughed. My hands began to get sweaty as it was close to telling him the news. "Do you need help with your stuff?"

"No, I got it. Thanks though. Did you eat yet?"

"Yeah. Did you?"

"No. I hope you and Zak didn't eat up all of the food while I was gone." He laughed, which made me chuckle.

"There's plenty of food left in the fridge." He nodded and headed upstairs with his stuff. I whipped out my phone to text Zak, saying 'Did your mom come back yet?'

I went to clean up my stuff, then sat back down in the living room. I heard my phone go off in my pocket so I answered it without looking at the caller i.d. "Hello?"

"Hey." I heard Zak say with worry in his voice. "She didn't come back yet. Did your dad come back?"

"Yeah. He just went upstairs. Do you know what time she's coming?"

"She said twelve but I haven't talked to her since then."

I sighed and laid back down on the couch. "Zak, I'm so scared."

"Don't be. It'll be fine."

"No it won't." I groaned. "You know how my dad gets crazy when I even mention the word pregnancy. Remember when I came home with a baby from school for a project and he freaked out?"

I heard him laugh. "Yeah. I am very aware of what's going to happen. Just be calm."

I sighed again. "I'll try. Why did your mom go out of town for?"

"My aunt needed someone to take care of her from coming out of surgery."

"Isn't your aunt married?"

"No not this one. She almost murdered her husband."

I let out a loud laugh. "For what?"

"I don't know. It was some stupid sh*t. But yeah-" I heard him stop talking and heard some shuffling noises. "She's home. Okay, once she's settled we'll come over. I'll see you soon."
