I awoke to the sound of my alarm going off. I let out a tiring groan and rolled over to turn it off. Going to my government class first thing in the morning for an exam on a Tuesday is not my cup of tea. Speaking of tea, I'm making Zak taking me to Starbucks to get some before going into the devil's den.

I got up and did my morning routine, then got dressed in a coral jersey crop top, distressed black shorts, and a pair of new balance shoes (or your desire outfit). For my hair, I put it in a pony tail, then threw on a hat. I grab my purse and phone before heading downstairs.

My dad was fixing himself some breakfast. I went to grab some orange juice and said, "Good morning, dad."

"Good morning, y/n." He smiled, tiredly. "How was your day yesterday?"

"It was alright." I blushed at what Zak and I did yesterday. "How was it camping out at work yesterday?"

"Haha, very funny. It was not fun. Who has a meeting at almost 12 in the morning?"

"That's ridiculous." I took a sip of my drink. "Did you guys close a deal or something?"

"Yeah. But it was worth it, since they are a really big company." He finished cooking and sat down at the table with his food. "I'm sorry, did you want breakfast?"

"A little late to tell me that, don't you think?" I laughed as I sat down with him. "And I'm fine."

He chuckled as he picked up his fork. "How are you and Zak doing with the apartment and stuff?"

I gasped as I remembered that I made an appointment for Thursday. "Thank you for reminding me. I completely forgot about that. We found one next to the college. It's really nice. The appointment is at 1 on Thursday."

"Alright. What about finding someone to take care of the baby?"

"Zak and I decided on who should take evening and morning classes. We have everything under control."

He sighed, then took a sip of his drink. "Okay then. I just hope the rent isn't high."

"Me too. Then if that doesn't work, our only hope is the other one that is all the way downtown. It's thirty minutes away from the campus and we can't afford to pay gas for that."

"I understand." He chuckled. "Sweetheart, if the rent is high then I guess you and Zak can stay here."

I nearly choked on my juice. "Seriously?! We can stay here?!"

"Only if the rent is not affordable." He smiled.

I jumped up from my seat and gave him a hug, then a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, dad!"

"You're welcome, pumpkin." He chuckled as he patted my arm. "Hey, don't you have an exam today?"

I let go and looked at my watch. "Yeah. I have to leave anyways." I walked around him and grabbed my purse. "What time do you have to go to work?"

"After you leave. I'm coming home early. Twelve at the most."

"Wow. I know that you're gonna take a really long nap when you come home."

He got up and gave me a hug. "You know me so well."

I giggled before giving him another kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you later."

"You too." He let me go and I headed to the front door. "Love you!" He said and waved.

"Love you, too!" I closed the door before heading over to Zak's car, which was already at the front of my house.

I got in and smiled. "Hey baby."

"Hey." He smiled before giving me a kiss. "Are you alright?"
