Chapter 28: Surgery

*Kayla's POV*

I threw on my Batman shirt with black shorts. I put on my black converse and grabbed my batman bag with my clothes in them. "Let's go sis." Cam said. We walked to the car and I got a call from Hayes. I ignored it and waited. Once we got there they let us in and we got a room. "Cam I'm scared." I said. "Wanna talk to John?" He asked. "No it's fine." I said. The doctor walked in with another boy. "Oh sorry Kayla this is Jace and he is after you so he's going to wait with your brother." He said. "Okay hey." I said and he waved. "Now let's get started." The doctor said.

*Hayes's POV*

"OH MY GOD WHY WONT SHE PICK UP HER PHONE I NEED TO TALK TO HER!" I yelled backstage. "Bro calm down." Nash said. "I CANT MY GIRLFRIEND IS IN SURGERY AND I NEED TO TALK TO HER NOW!!" I yelled. "I'll call cam." He said. "Bro he said she's almost done." He said. "Thank god!" I said. "Your on bro!" Nash said and pushed me on stage.

I was doing my thing when I got a phone call from Kayla. "OH MY GOD!" I yelled and ran backstage.

Me: Babe oh my god are you okay?
Koala Bear🐨❤️: yea I'm fine
Me: thank god so how did it go?
Koala Bear: it was painful
Me: no crutches?
Koala Bear: no crutches
Me: BABE YOU CAN GO TO THE LAKE NOW!
Koala Bear: Uh I don't think so
Me: what why?
Koala Bear: I don't want to
Me: fine I gotta go bye
Koala Bear: Hayes don't be mad
Me: bye
Koala bear: Ha-

I ended it and went to the hotel room.

*Kayla's POV*

"Ugh." I said and Jace laughed. "Can I have your phone it's broken and I want to fix it." He said. "Yea here." I said giving him my phone. "I fixed it by giving you my number. Text me cutie." He said then walked in to his surgery. I looked at my phone and saw he saved it as: Jace🚀🏥. We went home and I'm still in pain so I took my pills. "Uh Kayla Hayes texted you." Cam said bringing in Taco Bell.

Teddy Bear🐻❤️: Kayla why don't you want to go to the lake with me?!🚣
Me: Hayes I need a couple weeks to recover💉
Teddy Bear: but still
Me: hayes you know I have cuts on my thighs and I'm very insecure about it😒😔
Teddy Bear: Right I should've picked someone without scars.
Me: Maybe you should've
Teddy Bear: I will since I'm in L.A. we are over
Me: Saw that one coming since you won't date a girl with scars!😒
Teddy Bear: I also wanted someone skinnier than you and prettier and NOT A SUICIDAL FREAK!😒

I started crying when my phone was ringing from Nash.

Nashypoo💩💩❤️: Kayla I'm sorry Hayes broke up with you.
Me.: it's not your fault Nash
Nashypoo: He has a new girl already
Me: really?
Nashypoo: yea
Me: guys are stupid
Nashypoo: hey!
Me: except you nashypoo
Nashypoo: I'm flying down to see you
Me: really?!
Nashypoo: yea I miss you
Me: aw
Nashypoo: my plane is about to board so I'll talk to you later.
Me: bye Nashypoo
Nashypoo: bye Kaykay

I hung up and Hayes was calling me.

Me: What do you want?!
Hayes Grier: I'm sorry
Me: too late for that
Hayes: Kayla please I can't do this I don't have another girl I mean I did but it wasn't the same.
Me: Hayes school starts in two weeks I'll see you then.
Hayes: No please no I'm with Nash and he won't even talk to me
Me: not my fault
Hayes: Kayla please I didn't mean it trust me
Me: I need more than a sorry
Hayes: Kayla please I'll do anything im sorry!
Me: Maybe you should find someone skinnier or prettier or non suicidal.
Hayes: Kayla I'll make it up to you if you let me take you on a date.
Me: well I have to tutor you and John so depends when
Hayes: I'll let you know I'm sorry
Me: ok bye
Hayes: I love you
Me: bye

I hung up and the doorbell rang. "I got it!" Cam said. "ahh!" He screamed and slammed the door. "What?" I asked laughing. "It's Romeo Beckham and his dad!" He said. I got up and opened the door. "I'm so sorry about that." I said letting them in. "We have Taco Bell if you want some." I said. "That's a lot of tacos." Romeo said hugging me. "Yea well Cam is having his friends over." I said. "I'm sorry about how I treated you Kayla." David said. "It's fine." I said. "Well I got to go is it cool if Romeo stays here?" He asked. "Yea I am also having another two people come over." I said. "Thank you!" He said and left.

The doorbell rang so I ran to the door and opened it. "TAYLOR!!!" I yelled and hugged him. "Hey!" The others said. "Come in guys." I said. "Dinning room Taco Bell is here." I said. They went there and sat down. "ROMEO COME HERE!" I yelled. "Did you get four tacos?" I asked shutting the door. "Yea I did." He said and the doorbell rang again. "AHHHH NASH!" I yelled and dropped my taco. "My taco." I frowned. "Hey Kayla." Hayes said appearing in the door. "Hayes." I said and two figures were behind him. "JOHN! JACE!" I yelled and they hugged me.

"Guys we got you tacos and we are going to the basement." I said shutting the door. "Can I join?" Hayes asked. "Fine." I said and we went downstairs.
