Chapter 4: Tutoring

*Hayes's POV*

GOD I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE! I need Kayla as my girlfriend oh my god. But today she's tutoring me so it's perfectly fine by me. I got up and got ready then looked out my window and saw Kayla leave and she looks beautiful. She's wearing black shorts and a black zombie crop top then they drove away. I walked out to the car and we drove to school.

I was walking down the path when I saw Kayla walking with her friend Victoria and she was laughing. Her laugh oh my god it kills me. She went to her locker which was next to mine and got her books which was just English. I watched her but when I opened my locker I hit her head again. "Kayla Im so sorry." I said helping her up. "Its fine." she smiled and walked to get the folder.

She came back with John next to her. "Come one babe please I need help with Math you gotta help me with it please baby I will do anything!" He begged her. Wait are they dating? "John don't call me 'babe' or 'baby' we aren't even dating and meet me after school in my homeroom I'll help you with Math." she said and walked away. "I thought you were helping me?" I asked her.

"I am but at my house after I help Joe and John." she smiled and everyone walked into homeroom. I followed her and since she's practically the teacher she sits next to Mr.Burd. "Okay count." she said. I said my number and she called me over. "Yes." I said and sat down next to her. "After school stay in here with me and wait." she said and I nodded.

The bell rang and we got up and went to our classes. I had Social Studies first, English second, ICT third, Math fourth, Science fifth and Gym last. I went to Social Studies and met up with my friends. "Hey hey hey it's Hayes aren't you dating the nerd?" They asked. "No stop she isn't a nerd we aren't even dating." I rolled my eyes and payed attention.

"Alright just don't become a nerd like her." Jake laughed. I rolled my eyes and continued to take notes. "ALRIGHT GUYS TIME TO SWITCH." He said and I walked to English to see Kayla looking at her book. "Boo!" I said and she didn't even move. "Kayla." she looked up and smiled. "I didn't study for the test." she frowned. "Hey it's okay I didn't either." I said and she rolled her eyes. "You never study." I nodded and walked in the classroom.

"Clear your desks it test time!" He yelled and I looked at Kayla who rolled her eyes. I got the test paper and didn't know anything. What does this even mean? Did we even learn this? What when did we do this? We didn't even learn this part of the book-" I lost my train of thought because someone walked past handing in their paper. I looked up and saw Kayla.

She smiled and sat back down. It took me the whole period to complete the test and of course we got home work. "Guys your homework is to read pages 156-187" I groaned and he dismissed us. "HAYES!" I heard Jake yell and stop at my locker. "Hey nerd." he waved at Kayla and she slammed her locker and walked away. "Whats wrong with you?!" I yelled and grabbed my books and walked away.

"Hey Kayla wait up!" I jogged towards her and she was quiet. This kid walked past her and started to act funny. "Hey Chris." she said and laughed. We got to class and took our seats. During the whole class I was watching Kayla laugh and have fun. "Katelyn stop." she laughed. "Imma windmill you." Katelyn said and spun around in her chair waking Kayla with her legs.

~SKIPPING TO THE END OF THE DAY~

"Kayla I'm hereeeeeee." Joe and John said as they walked in. Kayla sat in the big chair and they sat at the desks. I sat next to her and waited. "JOHN NO!" She screamed. I looked up and saw him trying to kiss her. "This lesson is over. OUT!" She yelled and they left. She stayed for a little bit and I took a picture of her packing up.

She saw and blushed. "Lets go Hayes." she said and I grabbed her hand. We got to her house and walked in. "Sit." She said pointing to the couch. "Ok what first?" I asked opening my backpack. "Math." She said. "That's the only homework we got because English we have a sub tomorrow so." She said pulling out her binder.

"Sooo..." I said grabbing my planner. "Open to page 630 and do the problems and then I'll check them." She opened her book and did her answers then shut her binder. I tried to do it but I couldn't. "Need help?" She asked getting closer. "Please." I sighed. "Come on Hayes its not hard." she said and scooted away. I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer.

"Help me." I said looking in her eyes. "Okay." she said looking at me. "Um number two you just have to find the Mean, Median, Mode and Range." She said. "Okayyyy." I said confused. I got it and moved on to the next question. "Do we have to do this?" I asked. "Hayes we are on question two." she laughed and I groaned. "Fine wanna copy my homework and then tomorrow actually have a nice tutoring session or not?" She sassed. "I'll continue." I said focusing.

After about an hour of homework and there was only seven questions I went home but went back. "Im sorry for being sassy." she said as we sat on the couch. "Hey it's fine don't worry about it." I smiled and she smiled back. "Hey wanna maybe g-go on a d-date with me tomorrow?" I asked scratching my neck. "Sure." she said and I heard a woof from upstairs. "ASH COME HERE CUTIE." She screamed.

This small little husky came down the stairs. "Hey Ash." she said in a cute voice and he laid down next to me. "Hayes don't be scared just let him smell your butt." she laughed. I laughed and looked at her. "My mom needs me home." I said and got up. I hugged her then left. "Bye hayes!" She said and I smiled walking out the door.
