Chapter 18: Tour with tears

*Hayes's POV*

So I left for Digi last night and now I'm at the meet and greet. Tons of girls come up to me and do poses like Kayla does but that brings tears to my eyes. Yea Kayla's in two different types of surgery's today. "Hey Hayes can I have a picture?" This nice girl asked. "Yea sure." I said and we did a pose like me and Kayla do all the time. I started to get teary eyed and Nash noticed. Once the girl left Nash came over. "Hey bro what up?"

"Kayla." I said letting a tear slip. "How is she?" He asked worried. "I don't know." I said. "Talk to Cameron." he said and walked away. I pulled out my phone and called Cameron.

Cameron😐👊: Hey Hayes
Me: Hows Kayla?
C: We just got to the place like five minutes ago and we are waiting
Me: can you keep me updated please?
C: Yea of course
Me: Thanks
C: Anytime I gotta go we've been called.

He hung up and I greeted the next girl. After the meet and greet part stuff thingy we went backstage. "Hey Hayes! How's Kayla doing?" Nash asked. "She just went into the room." I said worried. "Don't worry Hayes she will be okay she's strong!" Matt said behind me. I heard my phone go off so I looked at it. "I gotta take this!" I said and walked outside.

Cameron😐👊: Hey bro I'm here to keep you updated
Me: Well...
C: Right well she is in her first surgery thing right now she just started and woah that's so cool!
Me: Cam what?
C: I'm watching them
Me: And...
C: Woah they are like inside her knee that's so cool!
Me: Cam
Me: I gotta go

I hung up and walked back inside. "Hey is everything okay?" "Yea." I said sitting on the couch. "So..." Tez said. "Oh she just started her first surgery." I said. "Great now let's go on stage." he said and I got up. I walked over to the stage and everyone cheered. "Hey guys it's Matt Duh and we want to cheer up Hayes!" He said. "WHY?" I fans yelled. "Let me tell ya. So yesterday Kayla's knee twisted around from volleyball and falling down the stairs. So today she is having TWO different types of surgery done. Right now she's in her first one and Cameron said its cool watching all the blood and stuff but we need Hayes over here to be happy because she's a strong person!" He said. "AWWWW!" They screamed.

Cameron😐👊: HAYES!
Me: What?
Cameron: Kayla's done with her first part
Me: REALLY?
Cameron: yes
Me: How is she?
Cameron: She's asleep
Me: oh my god I miss her
Cameron: tour ends Friday right?
Me: yea why?
Cameron: she gets out that day
Me: WHAT?
Cameron: dude I'm serious
Me: let's surprise her
Cameron: that's great
Me: I gotta go
Cameron: bye
Me: bye

I hung up and the boys were looking at me. "What?" I asked. "Hows she doing?" Tez asked. "Uh she finished the first one and is sleeping now then she goes to the second one in ten minutes then gets out on Friday!" I said jumping up and down. "HAYES IS HAPPY!" Nash yelled.

*Kayla's POV*

Second surgery had to be the worst one it hurt so bad. After it I sat in the bed next to Cam and grabbed my phone. I called Hayes but no answer. So I called Nash and he answered.

Nashty😉😂: OH MY GOD KAYLA!
Me: OH MY GOT NASH GRIER!
Nash: *laughs* Your done?
Me: yea I finished the second one and it hurt more than the first.
Nash: Feel better
Me: thanks Nashy
Nash: Bye
Me: Tell the fans im fine even thought they don't care
Nash: I will

He hung up and I looked at my twitter.

I got a call from him.

Me: I know
Teddy bear: You know I started crying
Me: Hayes why?
Teddy bear: Because I love you
Me: Awwwww
Teddy Bear: How did it go?
Me: First one I was knocked out so it didn't hurt but the second one woah it hurt so bad
Teddy bear: Aww babe your strong don't worry
Me: when are you comin home
Teddy bear: next week
Me: What?
Teddy bear: hey it's okay
Me: I know I miss you
Teddy bear: same babe
Me: the doctor is here I gotta go
Teddy bear: good luck babe love you
Me: love you too

"Okay Kayla you are being let out on Friday but from now till then we need to keep an eye on your knee to make sure it doesn't move anymore." He said. "Okay." I said. "Hey Doctor can you take a picture of us please?" Cameron asked. "Sure." he said and took his phone.
