"Thank you guys, so, so much," Heath said, dancing around excitedly.

"Totally. Now we have to be onstage and introduce you as our new bass guitarist in three hours. I hope you're a huge Crescent Sun fan," Donny told him.

"Don't worry, I know you're guy's stuff really well. You can trust me."

So we headed to the arena where Pearl Jam was waiting for us.

"Heyyyy," Eddie said once he saw me. His face lit up and his eyes shimmered. So beautifully. He ran towards me, full speed. We crashed into a hug, even though it's only been a couple hours.

"Ohhhh, my god," Heath said, staring at Eddie like he was the goddamn messiah.

After our hug session ended Eddie introduced himself to Heath, who was crazy star struck.

Eddie didn't like being a celebrity, but he was still kind. I loved him so much.

"Oh, hi, wow, big fan, um, I'm Heath Burton, the new Crescent Sun bass guitarist,"

Eddie looked at me like, wow that fast?

"Cool, man, glad to have you on the tour." Eddie smiled and hugged Heath.

So we told him the things that went down when we performed, and he caught onto everything really quickly.

We all separated to change and such, and then Crescent Sun met up backstage 5 minutes before the show started.

Eddie grabbed both my hands and stared into my eyes, and he said,
"I love you, Violet. Kick some ass for me." He kissed my lips intimately.
"I love you." I told him.

He smiled and let me run out onstage, blowing a kiss as I left.

"Heyo, Arizona!" I yelled.

The crowd cheered.

"How ya feelin'? I know I'm feelin' pretty fucking good!"

They all screamed back like the crowds always do. I loved it.

"So, we got a new bass guitarist," I said, pointing to Heath.

They all cheered for him, making him grin like a motherfucker.

"Heath Burton. Be nice to him, okay? First shows are scary for everyone," I laughed.

We already showed him the set list, and our first song was a one I wrote, called Tooth.

"One two three four, four three two..."

"Lose your teeth,
Lose your hair
Blood to seethe,
Away, away.
Grow up, child
Your skin I myself bare."

And then I danced around, with my brothers and well, adopted brother, rocking out.

We flung our bodies all over, losing ourselves.

"Teeth, teeth, they brittle to waste
Go find a fucking job,
Teeth, teeth, they all seem to never last
Get outta my house and walk away,
Teeth, teeth, bite down on your future
Never come back
Teeth, teeth, worth the same as coal
Disappointment aid, leave me be."

The song is about basically a kid who just graduated, still living with his parents. They eventually kick him out into the real world, and when you figure out the tooth fairy doesn't exist, (that kinda symbolism, you see?) the world kicks you in the ass.
It's rather sad, I think.

Tooth is also about my older brother, Silas. That's exactly how our parents treated him. I haven't seen him in five years.

I missed him.

The song eventually ended and we played a couple more songs.
And then it was time to introduce Pearl Jam.

The hot, strenuous sun had made me sweat, and I felt disgusting, but very very happy.

"You fuckers ready for Pearl Jam?!"

They roared and roared eagerly.

And then we left the stage, sweaty bodies hugging and laughing.

Eddie was sitting down backstage with a notepad on his lap. He looked so beautiful. He was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. In my entire fucking life.

His eyes were focused, and he muttered certain lyrics I read on his lips.

He just looked so angelic, and God, I felt overwhelming love. I was so in love with him.

And then he looked up from his notepad and smiled at me. I walked towards him, sat down next to him, and leaned on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my head softly.

And then he left to perform, grinning at me before he went onstage.
I blew a cheesy kiss at him and mouthed, I love you.

I love you, too.

Sorry the chapter's kinda short :/
