Hey yahl ok. so ill admit it last chapter was super slow and boring compared to the others. Believe me it was for me to. But this is where it'll pick back up again. I dislike some of the mushy gushy . well at least too much of it anyway. It gets annoying. So although there will be SOME in this chapter I will make a definitive effort to lessen it. Please continue to comment and vote. Everything you say at the bottom just makes my day. I love you all and I hope you enjoy this chatper. I also hope I enjoy writing this chapter. Unlike the other one. Haha. Happy reads.

Parker came back down the hill a moment later with the clothes in his arms. He took out a gun and cocked it. Smiling fondly at it. He holstered it and walked off into the woods. I swam around a little more. Exploring the bottom of the lake. There were some fish in there. At one point a crab got a hold of my toe. To be honest I almost killed it.

Parker came back only a couple of minutes later with a few rabbits. He roasted them on a spit and I was strongly reminded of Shrek. We ate and got back in the water together. We swam around and splashed and dived. We played childish games like who could hold their breath the longest.

When dinner time came around we went and hunted together in the woods surrounding the little clearing with the water fall. I noticed the strange animals all around us. Types of strangely colored monkeys and stranger looking deer. Parker smiled at me gazing at the red monkey sitting in a tree above our heads.

Parker leaned in closely to me so I could feel his breath on my neck. "The animals are different here. The environment is strange and the chemicals on the island made the animals evolve weirdly. Fascinating,  arent they?" He whispered to me, trying not to disturb the animals around us.

I nodded and smiled at him. We crept forward on our hands and knees through the jungle. We found traps that had been set previously when Parker had come hunting for lunch. 2 of them had caught something. We emptied the traps and set them again. We walked leisurely through the jungle to go back to the water fall. Why bother hiding ourselves now that we were done?

He cooked up the meat again and we ate under the setting sun. When we were done Parker dove back into the water. I watched from afar as he climbed up onto the ledge. He came to me a different way.

"Where did you come from?" I asked

"Oh theres an entrance on the side." he said pointing over to the water fall. "I didnt want to get these wet."

He threw down some wool blankets. I picked one up and covered myself with it. Tucking it in under my bare feet. It was still very warm outside. I did it mainly because it was soft and warm.

"Well arent you Mr. Resourceful" I smiled at him as he sat down and lay back watching the moon rise in the sky.

"I sleep up here whenever I can." he explained "Its much more peaceful than down there. You can feel how angry they are." He whispered

"Aren't I the same way?" I asked

"Yes, but its less noticeable." he said turning toward me "You're trying to deny it. So it covers itself up."

"Oh," I looked away and pulled at the grass beneath us. Could'nt he tell I was trying not to think about it? If I thought about it I might break down and completely go nuts. Force them to attack when we were only half finished with our plans. What kind of leader would I be if I lead them into a death trap?

"Evangeline?" He asked

I looked away from the stars above me to him beside me. He rolled on his side. Toward me his dark brows were furrowed and his long hair was spilling onto his face. I looked him over briefly. Why had it taken me all day to notice that he had a six pack. He smiled when he noticed me looking at his physique. I looked back up at the stars.
