I looked around at Parker and the reset of them laughing. I glanced at Justine and she looked away. She couldnt even look me in the eye.

"You forget Parker I have no inhibitions like some common hero. I realize how very despensible humans are and these fallen few are no loss to me. You act as if you have created some great feat and the only thing you've managed to do is take down a few of my back up. Death is no permanent thing either. I think you forget that sometimes, Parker." I smiled standing up and regaining my composure

"Oh please," He cried "Dont act like you dont care. You dropped to your knees at the sight of their deaths. You are just as weak as any other Hero. Including your little friends in their glass cases. You are weak dont pretend to be one of us when you arent."

"Thats exactly what I am." I shrugged "I dont hesitate to take a life. I only let people live if they could be useful to me in the future. You caught me off guard at the warehouse, Parker. I have a bone to pick with you now."

He looked up at me pursing his lips. A tear straggled down his cheek. His eyes widened and he wiped it away.

"The lets settle the score shall we. Though before we do I think I would like them all to watch as you fall. I do prefer an audience to things. Witnesses make everything so much more interesting." He smiled devilishly

He waved his hand at The Controller who turned and concentrated on the contained avengers. They opened their eyes slowly. Looking around and figuring out what was happening. Loki spotted Max laying lifeless on the ground and started banging on the glass. Steve was making threatening remarks through the glass at Parker, constantly glancing at Nicole lying on the ground. Clint was leaning his forehead helplessly against the glass, staring at Jacqueline.

My eyes fell on Tony, looking at me through his own glass case. His eyes met mine and they lingered for a little bit. I looked away fast, I couldnt afford to break character. My face scrunched and I looked back to Parker.

He eyed me suspiciously. Trying to read me. I leaned to one side and took another swig from my Jack Daniels bottle. Noticing it was dwindling faster that appropriate. It was a good thing I didnt react to alchol like humans. I didnt absorb it as fast. I could conceivably drink this entire bottle and only be a little tipsy.

Parker's anger seemed to be growing as he looked at me. I fished my phone out of my pocket and pressed speed dial. I had prepared for this on the ride here. I thought something similar might happen. I pressed the call button and slid it into my back pocket.

I looked back up at them all. My eyes scanning each criminal and their most apparent weaknesses. The red skull was simply human. So I acted like he was.

I let a bullet fling forward from the easiest reached pistol. It burrowed into his strangely shaped cranium and he fell to the ground. The hole still smoking. They all hesitated, surprised at my sudden outburst for a moment and then they acted.

The Controller's hand went out in front of him as he starred me down angrily. He made a fist at me and pain shot through my head. I felt my knees wobble a little bit, but I kept my face straight. The pain was rising to a crescendo inside my head and though my nails dug into the palms of my hands I stayed quite still and indifferent looking.

The Controller faltered and looked around at the rest of Parker's team. They were looking at him with expectant looks. With the pain released on my head, I found the ability to raise my eye brow.

"Uh.." I looked around again "What was that about?"

He looked around again and tried once more, I stayed indifferent through this more powerful burst through my head. I felt disorientated but as long as I didnt move it wouldnt be a problem.
