By the time the pair got back from shopping, the housekeepers had already left, leaving the house clean and smelling fresh. Woo asked for the omega to make him juice and Zaire went to the kitchen. Woo unloaded all the bags and went upstairs, placing everything in the omega's room. After the bedroom was full of fancy boxes and bags, the alpha shut the door. He decided to go for a short walk around the residence, taking Katana along with him. Zaire set a glass cup full of fresh pressed juice on the kitchen counter before going upstairs to change.
When the omega opened the door to his room, his mouth fell open in shock. The bags he had seen the taller man carry earlier, were now on his bed. Numerous boxes were neatly lined up on the floor next to it. There were some that Zaire could recognize but some of them, he hadn't even seen the wolf carry around. What were they doing in this bedroom? Had the alpha placed them here on accident? The omega didn't dare to move, afraid of being accused of touching what wasn't his.
He wasn't sure how long he stood at the door until he heard a deep voice from behind. "Do I have to carry you inside this bedroom for you to enter now?"
Zaire turned around with a gasp. He saw Woo leaning back against the wall, with his hands in his pockets. "A-All this stuff is in my room?"
Woo nodded while keeping a straight face. The wolf watched as confusion formed on the smaller man's face. "Alpha, w-why?"
"Hm?" One of Woo's brows arched at that.
Zaire blushed and peeked at the bedroom again. "Some of the stuff isn't mine, I-I didn't choose this much."
"Everything in that room is all yours."
"B-But I can't take all that, it's too much." The omega felt his heart race from hearing that.
"You don't have a choice but to accept them." Woo said calmly.
"Why?" The omega asked while looking away.
Woo shrugged while coming to stand closer to the small wolf. "You haven't bought a single thing for yourself from my card."
"All this is not needed, p-please don't buy me stuff again." Zaire stepped a bit back, a bit shy with having the older man so close.
"Instead of thanking me, you're here complaining?"
Woo's tone changed as he said that. His voice went lower yet deep, full of dissatisfaction. Zaire looked up to see a frown on the alpha's face. Woo didn't look too happy with what he said. The taller man turned to walk away, mood already sour. "Just throw everything away, I don't care."
"W-Wait..please." Zaire held Woo's arm to stop him from leaving.
The older man wanted to pull away, but he didn't want to see any more hurt on Zaire's face. He had thought of the omega while buying all this but the smaller man declined everything before even opening it. That pissed the alpha off. Many omegas would've begged to be in Zaire's position, wanting all the money that Woo could give them. This omega was strange. Despite the alpha giving Zaire his black card, the younger man hadn't bought a single item from it. Even now, he had chosen so much for the younger man but he was still declining everything.
"I'm sorry if I upset you." The omega said with a small voice. "I-I do appreciate that you bought so much for me, I just didn't want to burden you. Thank you so much."
Zaire genuinely felt bad for how he had acted earlier, the taller wolf could hear it in his small voice. The omega stood with his head down in shame, anxiety seeping off his scent. That made the taller man's anger melt. Woo stared at the omega silently, dark onyx eyes scanning every inch of him. The alpha felt his heart race as he saw the soft hand on his toned bicep, gripping the skin hesitantly. The touch was warm and soft on his skin. Ignoring the strange sensation, Woo cleared his throat and spoke again.
