Evan's POV
My eyes fluttered open to a soft hand layed on my chest. I looked down and smiled as I saw Lilia lying there like an angel. All the stress gone from her peaceful face.
I remembered the way she kissed me, completely innocent. I savoured the lingering contact on my lips.
I frowned. I came here to help her. To cure her.
...not for her to cure me.
I decided against moving as she was resting on my arm and chest.
Her eyes blinked open soon after. She looked me and smiled, then noticed the position we were in and moved away, blushing.
"S-sorry" she mumbled.
She stood up, only in one of my larger baggy t-shirts which reached half thigh. Blushing bright red she tried to pick her clothes off the floor without showing me what was under my shirt.
I kinda wished I could see.
God! Why is she so addictive! I'm meant to help her. Not want her.
Standing up I strode over to where she was and lifted her chin softly with my index finger so she was facing me. I saw her visibly wince at the contact. She had a long way to go.
I bent down and brushed my lips along hers, "No need to apologise" I said, making her shiver.
Walking out of the room I went into the bathroom and took a quick shower. Roughly sticking on my school shirt, back trousers and slinging my hoodie over my shoulder I was ready to go.
I stomped down the stairs, an extra hour earlier than usual to see Lil sitting in the living room watching Jeremy Kyle.
I tip toed behind her and leaned down brushing my face against her neck, "Ready to go?" I asked, teasing he ear with my breath.
"Yes" she managed, I obviously had an effect on her, pleased with myself I withdrew, standing up straight, grabbing the remote before turning the TV off and striding out of the room.
"Coming?" I ask when I reach the doorway and she still hasn't moved.
"Y-yea" she said, brushing off imaginary dust as she stood up and followed me to the yard where my car is. Getting in we started driving to her house for her to get her school stuff.
"I think we need to talk about last night" Lil said, all in one breath.
"What do you want to talk about?" I asked
"I think we are better as friends" she says and my insides turn upside down. My grip on the steering wheel becomes harder as my knuckles turn white, "There's nothing wrong with you. It's just.." She trailed off.
"It's just what?" I question. Inquisitive.
"...it's just.... It's just.. Me".
I take a deep breath. This will be harder than I thought.
