"Sky?" My voice cracked as I spoke. "Is that really you?"
I was shell shocked, you'd think much would change in the years since I left and yes, granted she had grown older, her face now more defined and completely flawless.
Her blond hair was tied back in a strict pony tail, she was wearing black leggings with a grey stripe down the side of her leg. They finished about half way down her calf. On her top half she was wearing a tight leather jacket which curled around her body, hugging her figure. She wore nothing on her face apart from a tough scowl.
"Lilia Snow, long time no see" I saw the slight smile start to creep up her face until she realised and shut it down immediately.
"W-why are you h-here? W-where's – Evan, why did he - why did you d-do that t-to m-me?" I could feel the tears creating rivers down my face as I sobbed, "w-why d-d-do that t-to me?!" I broke down, sinking to the floor again.
A warm hand touched my shoulder, "Lilia, come with me, we have something you might be interested in ..." I rose slowly, wiping my eyes as I was guided out of the room,
"W-what about Thea?" I stuttered,
"Don't worry, she's been taken back to her room to rest. She should be up and ready to go in about an hour",
"W-what did you give her?"
"Nothing life threatening. Illegal? Yes; but most of them are. No side effects apart from maybe a headache, nothing paracetamol can't solve!" and with that she walked off through the large wooden door out of the 'control' room.
Tentatively I opened the door, ahead of me was a hallway, like the one that Evan had led us through originally.
"This way!" Sky called from a couple of meters ahead of me, I scurried to catch up as she kept speeding forwards down the hallway.
I still can't believe she is here. The last time I saw her was my original school before I had to leave, and that was only a glance as I wasn't allowed to talk to her. The last time I talked to her, god, I was 5 last time.
She had stopped in front of a door, waiting for me, on the door it said
ADfT1
"What does the door mean?" I ask,
"uh...Advanced Design for Testing room one" She recited quickly, turning the door handle slowly.
So the room names do have meaning then. I wonder what the one on our door meant?
I didn't have time to ponder as she pushed the door open to reveal a largish room divided into sections, five to be exact. There was four sections on the outside of the room, all decked out with computer screens and sketches. The fifth section was in the centre and was a roundish metal table.
Sky walked to the centre and pressed a button, I was frozen in the doorway, not sure how to react. "Come and have a look" Sky ushered. I gulped and rambled forwards. As I got to the table, she started talking.
"We are the TFSD, the Training Forces and Social Division. We are part of the government, the CIA to be on point. We're the part you don't hear about. The part you don't see, or hear, or even probably think about. But every agent comes through here, every single one"she sounded proud saying this.
