I stared at the door.
The door Evan had told me to go through before he left.
The one I am wondering what will hold behind it.
My mind is too shell shocked to comprehend anything simple like opening a door.
I still can't believe that Ev left us here, locked us in, without an explanation.
What's going on?
I could hear Thea's silent sobs, not meant to be heard but picked out by my acute ears, from across the room. I took a deep breath. It's go time.
Chuckling lightly I turned to Thea. "Are we going to g-go in then?" I questioned nervously. She sighed, "do we have any other choice?" and on that happy note we opened the doors...
The sight that stood in front of me shocked me beyond.
The room consisted of a large four post double bed with a purple throw over the bottom and purple cushions covering the head.
There was a small window which didn't open, a walk in wardrobe which contained some clothes, for me I'm assuming.
There was a shut door so I went over and opened it, revealing an en-suite with a toilet shower and sink. There was shampoo on the side and fluffy towels hanging on a towel rack.
Taking a deep breath I walked backwards out of the bathroom and collapsed on my bed. How did I get in this position?
"Lil!" Thea cried bursting through my bedroom door "Have you seen this place! The wardrobe! Oh my god!" laughing I sat up,
"No I didn't really look. But I saw it there..."
"Come on!" she screeched, dragging me into my wardrobe.
Hanging up on the left was athletic gear, hoodies and t-shirts and on the right was a dress and posher looking tops. In the draws were shorts, jeans and leggings. There were shoes which were everything from trainers to high heels of all colours on a ceiling high shoe rack.
It was a complete wardrobe if I ever saw one!
"It's weird" Thea started "My room is the same as yours but green. My wardrobe is the same as your but different colours and more dresses. It's strange."
"hmmmm" I agreed, "Let's go see what the other doors lead to?"
"Okay".
We left my room retracing our steps back into the hall way we had first been in, I could see Thea's door open next to mine.
She rushed to the door nearest her bedroom gesturing me to do the same with the fourth door.
"On the count of three" she whispered taking a deep breath, " 1.....2............ 3!"
I swung the door open to the most jaw dropping sight.
There was a high ceiling room stretching up so we could see the rafters, though we couldn't reach the top due to a thick glass panel cutting us off about half way up, if we were to climb.
