Shocked I stared at the door on the other side of the room. Key. Bring the key. My mind yelled at me. I turned and scooped up the key from the chamber behind me.

I scanned the room quickly. Nothing here that can help me greatly. I looked over at the other side, there was a couple of barrels over there.
Maybe there's something useful in them?
Taking a deep breath I stepped onto the wire. It juddered beneath me scarily and Thea swayed a bit. I took a deep breath and started forwards. One foot after another. My balance serving me well.
I reached the centre and grabbed the rope hanging from above. I was standing directly over Thea. Her eyes were rolling and she seemed half out of it. My heart was pounding against my ribs as I sized up the long length of rope which I had yet to cross.
I grimaced and started clambering across the rope. As I neared the end my foot slipped and I ended up belly flopping onto the platform, lucky it was the platform. Catching my breath back I stood up.

Sheesh! I have taken a long time crossing. The door had a key hole in, thank god I brought the key! Stop getting distracted! Barrels! My brain shouted at me.
Shaking my head I went over to the barrels. Inside was a metal bar, two smallish nets and a couple of lengths of rope. I thought hard. My brain trying to figure out what I can make with this.

And then I knew. I grabbed the bar and attached the two nets, one on each end. Then I started weaving...

I was ready. I dragged my invention near the edge of the ledge. I balanced it on my shoulders and started climbing. My feet stepping one foot after the other. I wobbled slightly, catching my balance at the last moment. I let out a deep breath which I hadn't realised I had been holding and moved forwards. Reaching Thea, I carefully lowered the bar onto the rope, holding it so that it didn't roll off.

Both sides of the bar had a net attached but only one side had my weaved rope attached to that net. Skilfully I maneuvered the bar and netting to exactly where Thea was.
Then I dropped down below the wire, hanging on with my arms, my legs dangling in the negative space below the wire. I shuffled along to where Thea and my invention were and I found the edge of my weaving; With one hand I brought it below Thea and to the other net connected to the opposite end of the metal bar. Which was still on top of the wire. Then my fingers started knotting it together.
When I had finished I looked at what I had made. It was basically a net. The bar on the top supported two little nets, attached in the middle with some weaved rope.
Pleased with myself I used my brute strength to haul myself back onto the top of the wire. Using incredible balance I stood up and then bent down and untied the rope around Thea's hands.
Looking at the last knot and then at my quickly made net, it was the moment of truth. I opened the knot and Thea's limp form dropped slightly, into the net. But it held, and that was good enough.
