Unknown POV
The night shadowed us like a ghost. Offering us shelter from being seen, because that would be game over.
The Window was open as we snuck into the business classroom. Stupid supply's have no idea what they're doing just leaving a window open like this.
The satisfying POP echoed around the room from the air vent being pried open.
My partner gave me a foot up and I used my upper body strength to climb up into the maze of air tunnels.
Once we were both inside we crawled to another opening. Mesmerizing the map of air ducts earlier had been a good idea. It was easy to decipher which way to turn.
After a right, left, left then straight ahead we got to our destination. We pushed the vent open enough for us to climb out.
The room was small with charts and inspirational posters on the walls. There was a pin up memo board and papers everywhere. Under the window sat a large plastic looking wooden desk. On top of the desk sat a computer, not that modern but not ancient either. It reflected in the light of the moon, casting a smoky shadow around the room. Bingo!
We started forwards; I sat at the royal blue swivel chair and started working my magic.
I logged on and soon I had the registers up. I marked her off; she wasn't here all of yesterday and won't be here for months. Check.
I then went to the security cameras. Footage deleted from yesterday, check.
Camera disabled in office and classroom for an hour, check.
Camera set to replay scenes from a couple of hours ago check. I logged off. Stupid password, family, eldest daughter to be exact.

Our tracks covered we slipped out of the window, job done.
I pulled out a small device from my pocket,
CLICK
...alarms enabled again.
We snuck behind the red brick wall that encompassed the grounds and made our way back to the van. Our breaths collecting mist from the crisp air biting at us.
I glanced at the school, a dark shadow was moving behind the buildings. I thought it was an animal at first, as it emerged I noticed it wasn't, but in fact a human.
A girl.
I could just make out her blonde hair, flying around her shoulders in the morning light.
She looked over to where we were hidden, mere meters away.
I saw her thin crimson lips, her sunken eyes and slightly crooked nose. Though the overall appearance was rather pretty, I'm trained to find people's weaknesses.
Her eyes were glassy blue, reflecting everything you didn't want to see.
She turned and I saw what she was wearing, a black hoodie with the faint grey outlines of a name, with my trained eyes I think I worked it out...
Skilton.
