Jackie's POV

After Elia came back from the hospital, things got a lot more tense. Amy broke up the Rebels because she couldn't handle the "pressure" of being a leader, but things couldn't be any calmer. The Royals didn't bother anyone anymore after Audie contacted their parents and told them what their daughters were doing. Audie moved away with her mom to California, but she promised to keep in contact with us for some reason. I think we're friends now, but I don't know. By the way Elia hugged her, it sure seems like it.

Elia, although she had fully recovered from the accident and the depression I didn't know she was in, didn't sit with us anymore. At least, not when Luke was there. Luke still preffered Amy, and that still broke Elia's heart. Right now, she's here, but Luke's walking over. I have a feeling this won't end good.

I stayed silent, and tried to signal Elia that Luke was coming, but she was too busy stuffing her face in her ketchup burger (Elia likes her burgers to be drenched in ketchup. Yeah, it's weird, I know.) Unfortunately, Micheal had to open his cute mouth.

"Hey! Luke! What are you doing here, mate?" Elia froze midbite, and gently swallowed her food. She set her burger down, and looked down at the table, keeping quiet. The boys stood up to greet Luke, but I stayed with Elia. I didn't know what to do or say to her to make her feel better. I'm not good with stuff like that, so instead, I just sat with her and hoped my company was enough because she wasn't getting anything more than this.

The guys came over and Luke and Elia wouldn't even look at each other. It was as if the other didn't exist. Micheal and the rest of the guys looked sort of confused, they didn't know what was going on between Luke and Elia. The guys knew that they had been best friends, but now they didn't even consider the other to exist. I just think they're taking this overboard.

If Luke had only bothered to listen to her, he would know she was telling the truth. Anyway, Luke isn't listening to either of us, and he thinks Amy is a living angel. She's nice, but when it comes to what she wants, she'll go to any lengths to get it.

I had to watch Elia carefully, because I didn't know when she was going to burst. She doesn't like being called a liar, and she will have to speak her mind. I just hope she doesn't lose it right now. Elia was shaking, and my previous thought went down the drain because she lost it.

Elia stood up, glared at Luke, and stormed outside. I ran after her, knowing she was probably going to make a fool of herself by yelling at absolutely nothing. I could hear footsteps behind me, and I turned around to see the guys and Luke coming after us to see what was going on.

Elia was already on the ground, gripping her hair and growling at nothing. I went up to her to try to calm her down, but she just kept growling. She was already tearing up, and I knew that if I didn't pull her hands away she was going to pull her hair out. But just as I was about to pull her up, Luke and the guys were already standing in front of us, and Elia was now glaring at Luke.

I don't know about you guys, but to me, this doesn't look good. And once again, I was right.

Elia stood up, and before I could do anything she was up in Luke's face.

"I. Fucking. Hate. You!!! YOU ARE SO FUCKING DENSE!! CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I AM RIGHT?!! AMY WAS CHEATING ON YOU! IN FACT, SHE STILL IS!! BUT NO, YOU WONT BELIEVE ME BECAUSE AMY IS SUCH A FUCKING ANGEL! HA! THAT IS ABOUT AS TRUE AS YOU ARE UGLY!!" she yelled. I raised my eyebrows at this. She's never lost it this bad before. I looked at Luke and I saw that he was pissed. He glared down at her, and that definitely looked odd. Luke almost never glares, he almost never gets mad. And now, he's glaring at my best friend.

"You are the one who's wrong! You just hate Amy because in middle school she blew you off. She stopped talking to you and supposedly to you, she used to be your best friend. I bet you hated that, didn't you. Well I think you deserved it. It's obvious she didn't want to be friends with a dumb, jealous, hyperactive nobody like you-"

SLAP!

My eyes widened. Elia just slapped Luke. Elia just slapped Luke. Elia just slapped Luke. I couldn't believe it, and apparently, neither did he. Elia was breathing hard, glaring at Luke with tears in her eyes, but that's not what scared me. What scared me was the heartbroken look in her eyes, the way her shoulders just sagged a little, showing her sadness. Luke had gone too far.

"I don't care if Amy isn't my friend anymore. I don't care if you think of me like that. I tried to warn you, but now, I just don't care about you anymore. I don't even hate Amy, I just don't like that she cheated on you. And if you can't believe me, then that's your loss. But let me tell you this, don't come crying to me when you find that I was right. Because when you do, it'll be too late."

And with that, she walked away. No, more like ran away. Her tears had already been falling, and I knew I had to go after her. Who knows what she'll try to do, or what would happen to her. Elia had always been a magnet for trouble, and trouble tended to come when she was at her most vulnerable. So I ran after her, knowing she would be heartbroken, if not worse.

Let me just say, best friend break-ups hurt more than any other break-up.

And that's that! Hope you like this chapter. It sucks, I guess, but I had writers block for a while. Hope you guys can forgive me!!! Toodles!
