Kaz's Point of View:
Therapy went better than expected honestly, it was relatively simple, but I assume it will get harder as time goes on. She just asked about my life and I tried my best to explain it to her in a way where it didn't sound like I was totally fucked in the head. Decker and I just kind of moped around all day while Max made sure Jude was doing his work. It wasn't until 4 o'clock that my day got interesting. Four in the afternoon is when everyone gets home, all of the kids have some sort of after school thing whether it be tutoring or a sport, Brian coached, and Keith did something, but I forgot what it was. Either way when they got home we were in the living room watching T.V. but Keith told us to turn it off and for the rest of them to sit down. It was funny Keith seemed sad, almost disappointed while Brian looked furious.
(Keith) - "All of you are to stay here until we complete room checks and tell you that you may leave, is that understood?" A couple of the boys gave a meek 'yes, sir' but Decker and Jude were not having it. I got to admit I was kind of confused by it all and by the look on Max's face he was too.
(Decker) - "What do you mean 'room checks'?"
(Jude) - "That's so unfair! I haven't done anything!" The boys began to talk over eachother each trying to be hear. Keith looked like he was about to take the time to explain the situation but Brian answered instead.
(Brian) - "That is enough out of the two of you, Keith and I are going upstairs and searching your rooms if the other boys would like to explain why then they can. Max I hate to keep you, but will you stay to make sure they don't leave here?" Max nodded his head and with that they walked up the stairs.
(Jude) - "Levi what did you do?"
(Levi) - "It wasn't me this time! Trust me, I learned my lesson the last time I got caught."
(Jude) - "Then who was it?!" Oliver gave himself away by dropping his head. Amateur.
(Jude) - "Oliver. Spill. Now." The poor kid looked terrified.
(Oliver) - "I...I got caught vaping, okay? And now their checking the rooms for vapes. I didn't mean to!"
(Jude) - "What do you mean 'you didn't mean to'?"
(Decker) - "That's enough, my turn to ask questions. Why are they checking all of the rooms if it's only Oliver that got caught?"
(Reason) - "No matter how much they want this place to feel like a home, it's still foster care. If there is the slightest chance of what they call 'contraband' they have to tear the house apart looking for it. It's not fair but they don't really have a choice. The state can and will take away their foster license if they think they either enabled us to have contrabandor didn'tdo their best to prevent us from having it." His words of wisdom got everyone to shut up and stop arguing but that didn't stop some from pouting. It wasn't long before they returned downstairs.
(Brian) - "Levi, Finn, Reason, and Kaz you may go." I didn't waste any time getting my ass out of there.
Decker's Point of View:
Fuck they found it.
(Keith) - "The reason you boys have to stay is because we found vapes in your room or if your name is Oliver, you got caught with it at school. Brian and I wanted to look at each crime individually so the reason you are all getting a different punishment is not because it is unfair but rather it is extremely fair, is that understood?" We all nodded.
(Brian) - "Good, now then, Oliver seeing as this is your first offense with something like this we went easy on you. On top of the punishment you will be given by the school you are also responsible for cleaning the bathrooms every day for the next month, is that clear?"
