Ed's POV:
"It was lovely to meet you, thank you for coming along, yes thank you.."
I hugged and said goodbye to the last fan then came back inside. I was looking forward to staying at Skye's tonight, and she couldn't exactly say I couldn't, as Stuart had, 'warned me' not to go back to mine. I laugh to myself but my face turns to a frown when I see Skye isn't still sitting where she was earlier. I walk into the bar, as expected Stuart was in there, minding his own business. "Stu, have you seen Skye?" I asked, hoping she hadn't left already. "No sorry mate, she'll be around, probably gone for some fresh air or something" he replied, I nodded and pulled out my phone, I called her number, no answer. I was now starting to get worried, where was she?
I went to go look outside when I saw someone huddled up by the door. "Skye!" I shouted, running down the corridor and literally diving onto the floor next to her. "Skye, babe, what happened?" I said as I put both hands on her cheeks and looked into her eyes. They looked hurt, and tears were running down her face, splashing onto my hands. "Skye please talk to me", I said, now panicking. Was it something I'd done? She shook her head as if she read my mind, and just buried her face in my chest, soaking my tshirt right through. I pulled her close and whispered in her ear, "You can tell me anything alright?". She looked up at me, "Can we go home?" she said quietly, but I didn't answer, I just picked her up in my arms and carried her outside. "Taxi!" I shouted as one passed by, even though her place was 10 minutes from here, I wouldn't ever let her walk home like this.
We got in and I told the driver her address, and it took all of 5 minutes in the car. I told the driver to keep the change as I gave him a tenner and carried Skye up the stairs, fumbling in her bag for her set of keys. When I finally managed to open the door I set her down on the bed and just let her cry into my chest once again. "I bumped into that girl" she finally whispered after what seemed like hours. I didn't even need to ask who it was she was talking about, I knew exactly who it was. "What did she do Skye? I swear, if she hurt you, I will go craz-" but my words just failed to come out once I looked up at Skye's face, she looked petrified. "She called me.. Emo" she managed to stammer. I hung my head in shame, mad at myself. I'd brought this on her. If she wasn't with me none of this would have happened. "She's no fan of mine", I said quietly, "My fans are lovely, they mean the world, you mean the world. Your a true fan Skye". She looked up at me, and she just managed to pull a sort of half smile.
