Love in the Skye (Ed Sheeran fanfic)

Chapter 36

Ed's POV:

I walked off stage after another amazing gig and nearly walked straight into Skye. She smiled up at me and wrapped her arms around my waist, hugging me tight. I put down my guitar and hugged her back. "What's up?" I said softly, "I love you too you know, you saved my life.." she said, fiddling with a loop hole on my jeans. "I didn't save you. You were brave. It was basically you..", she shook her head and pulled away. "That's exactly what Stuart said!" she sounded annoyed, so I let her have it this time. "Okay okay. Whatever you say.. We got through it together yeah?", she smiled slightly and nodded and picked up my guitar for me. I thanked her and we said goodbye to Stuart. "I'll see you on Sunday, don't forget, interview yeah?" he said as we turned to leave. I hadn't really had much radio attention lately, I guess that was a good thing. I got to spend some time with Skye until my tour, that started in a few days.

We walked hand in hand back to my flat but stopped off on the way to get a takeaway Nandos. It was one of my favourite places to go, ever. We ate it on the way back to the flat and I let us both in. After we finished we sat down on the sofa and just sat there in silence for a while. Finally I decided to make a move so I pulled off my jacket and tshirt and leaned back, allowing Skye to rest on my bare chest. She unbuttoned her jeans and slid them off, also taking off her bra, just leaving her in her panties and her tshirt. She rested her head on my chest and laid down in between my slightly open legs.

She closed her eyes straight away but it was harder then first thought. I didn't want to take my eyes off her. Not only because I wanted to watch over her, but also because I found her incredibly attractive in what she was wearing right now, laying on top of me. Her hand was resting on my thigh, as if she was teasing me, and she was sleeping with a smile on her face. I longed to kiss her but I didn't want to move incase I disturbed her. So I laid there watching her until I finally dropped off to sleep.
