Ruby’s P.O.V.

This has to be a dream! This was so…bizarre! It was a really nice night out and everything inside was driving me insane. That and I did feel really left out so I came out here and put my feet in the water enjoying the peace and quite. That is until Jimmy came out. I didn’t mind though. Seeing him in his black trunks sent shivers down my spine, God he was cute!

I ignored that fact though. When he came and sat next to me, my heart was beating a million miles an hour and I kept having to tell myself to freaking breath. Then when I looked over to him, our eyes locking for the moment, I had to look away. I couldn’t look at him since I knew that nothing would happen between us and it made me kind of sad then again, I knew that I was always going to be alone so I took in that fact and I am alright about it, that and I would be drooling like an idiot if I did.

We were going to head back inside the mad house were all the craziness was occurring and he offered me his hand and I had to battle in my head whether to take it or not and when I did, there was shock waves coursing through my arms.

He kept my hand in his while we walked inside and when we got inside I quickly dropped his and felt my face flush. He looked at me and he put his arm around me and gave me a reassuring smile that made me blush. God that smile sent me shaking!

“Hey sis!” Katie announced. I smiled at her and she hugged me while holding her toxic drink in her hand. “Where were you?” She asked with sorrow which made me kind of mad, don’t know why but it did.

“Oh just outside by the pool,” I explained. She nodded and took another drink of toxic and she introduced me to this guy named Jason Berry telling me that he was a drumming technician even though I didn’t know what that meant.

“She’s a drummer,” Katie said making me glare at her. She looked at me with the ‘I didn’t do anything’ look and I rolled my eyes.

“Really?” I looked beside me to see Jimmy beaming a smile at me and I sighed, rubbing the back of my neck. Why does everything have to be so awkward for me?

“Yeah…I do,”

“That’s why she loves you, bro,” She said looking to him. My eyes grew in shock. I am going to kill her!

“I am going to get a drink,” I said lightly before walking brisk fully into the kitchen where it was a lot calmer. That is one reason why I hate to drink, makes you act really freaking stupid around other people and makes you say things you’d later regret. I found a cup and filled it with some punch that I hope didn’t have any alcohol in it and took a few sips. I looked into the living room and saw my sister laughing and Jimmy putting his arm around her shoulders and beaming a smile to her. The other boys were with their girls either making out or in the case with Brian who was arguing with his girl which made me sad and wonder why they were fighting.

Maybe it was because what happened with him and Katie at the pool which made me wonder a lot. I knew that Katie really liked him for the simple fact the way she acted around him and such; then seeing them so close in the pool, if I didn’t call for her I wondered if they would of actually kissed or not.

“Doing alright?” I snapped my attention to the person in the kitchen and saw that it was Zacky, which I was thankful for. I don’t think I would have stand talking to Jimmy right now, I might die of a heart attack.
